If anyone knows where this game might be watchable online, please feel free to PM me. I have to work tomorrow and staying up til 2am is not on the cards.

From Diggers in today's SMH:

''I'll be on the left wing and Joe will be on the right,'' he said. ''I play both wings, but I gave him the first choice anyway … I think back to the days … well, I won't name names, but this bloke in the team said no go to playing on the other wing. So I'm doing it in reverse. I'm a good bloke.''
So I'm thinking that the wings back in the 'early days' when Diggers hit the scene - say around 2006, would have been, Gerrard, Tuiquiri, Rathbone, Shepherd and Staniforth. Surely he'd be talking about the Dark Shark, right?
Why should the new guy get first choice anyway?

Maybe a prima donna from Mitchell, but Ioane is being a cat to label himself "a good bloke".

Surely Digby was pulling the piss out of Mitchell. No one would say that unless they were writing a book - after they'd retired.

Jesus! Of course he is! I can't believe anyone would think otherwise.
Fuck if I was the senior guy, and had a strong preference for 1 wing, I'd take dibs, and if I was the junior guy, I'd just be happy to be on the park! Non-story.

Very scrappy start but still really excited simply because it's a test match. Scotland have had a good first 10 minutes but as in the 6Ns they struggle to convert pressure and field position to points. Handling errors galore thanks to the conditions. Expect this to be a close one for at least 60 minutes.
