de Jager out with a bruised knee, replaced by Willem Alberts.

Sam Cane's hammy will keep him out for six weeks so we finally get to see Ardie Savea start. Matt Todd joins the squad.

Sethfricken media not holding back in damning the Bokke performance in Brisbane & predicting a thrashing in Christchurch:

I'm not buying it. Bokke will be embarrassed by what happened & give us a good scrap, I reckon.

I would.
Both Bok tries came off wallaby errors.

^^^^^^ that's very true but the fact remains that the Bokke will play like madmen against us, they always do. You could almost say it's in their DNA. The shit they're copping from their media & fans will only make them even more pissed off. There will be blood, you can can be sure of that. AB by 10 max.

Cane out might be a bit of a blessing against the Bokke. He's been into the niggle a bit (as well as playing well) - taking out players off the ball and such, and against the Bokke, getting drawn into scuffles doing that might not help the ABs a whole lot. In any event, you lose little with another madman Savea out there. ;)

What price Etzebeth getting a red card? Or has he been cited at all from the Wallabies' game?

ABs much too strong I believe.

Try to figure out why AC got to Alberts? He don't learn from the chicken runners. Bet he'll start Alberts before Jaco Kriel.

Couldn't agree more WOB, everyone who has followed rugby long enough knows that the Bokke will come out breathing fire, and for 2 reasons,
1 The shit they copping
2 They playing the ABs, and one thing guaranteed to fire up a SA (or a NZ) rugby player is a Bok/AB test.

No citings from either game but "Beast" got a warning (I think that's what they're calling an off-field Yellow these days) for a neck roll on Pocock & Moody got one for a high shot on Petti.

Agree, tho, that "Bruno" needs to tone it down a lot as he's getting dangerously close to joining the meathead club (Lavanini, Lawes, et al). In fact if what I've read about the incident with DHP just before Whiteley scored is accurate, he's already there.

I wait in anticipation to be embarrassed as a South African.

Our boys will be up for the game but will be so overwhelmingly outplayed as to result to negative tactics. Expect some cards and several possible citings as well combined with the same old "I don't know whether to kick, run, or pass and if I should kick, where should I kick?" type of game-plan.

Physically our players are not the traditional South African type. The guys will give their best but they will suck kiwi cock at the end.

Springbok rugby is dead.

Gardner might fare best if he runs his headset off. Or gets a babel-fish. Might not understand his ARs, and will not understand George.

Opta Facts for NZ v SA:

New Zealand have won seven of their last eight games against South Africa, including the last two in a row; though none of the last four games between these nations have been decided by more than the value of a converted try.

o New Zealand have won their last 11 games at AMI Stadium, the last six of which have been decided by margins of at least 10 points. In fact, the last time the All Blacks lost at AMI Stadium was in 1998.

o South Africa have played eight games at AMI Stadium in Test history, winning only twice, and their last victory at the venue came over half a century ago (19-16 v New Zealand in September 1965).

o South Africa have won 38% of their games against New Zealand (35/91), the best winning record of any nation against the All Blacks.

o The All Blacks have averaged 41.5 points scored per game in 2016 so far, their highest since averaging 49.5 per game across 12 fixtures in 2007.

o South Africa have scored 31 points in the final quarter of games so far in The Rugby Championship 2016, the most of any team and five more than New Zealand, though the All Blacks have only conceded five points in the same period.

o The All Blacks have scored 18 tries in the competition so far this year, three more than Argentina, Australia and South Africa combined.

o The Springboks have put boot to ball in general play more often than any other team this tournament, averaging 26.7 kicks in general play, six more per game than the All Blacks.

o Sam Whitelock (40/41) has made more tackles than any player in the competition so far this year while Warren Whiteley has made 27/27 tackles, the most of any player who is yet to miss a single attempt.

o Beauden Barrett (99) needs only one more point to become the fifth New Zealand player to score 100 points in The Rugby Championship; Barrett is the top scorer in the competition so far this season (43).

Obviously the "AMI Stadium" referenced is mostly the old one (i.e. Lancaster Park), the current one having only been in use since 2012. So maybe think "Christchurch" rather than "AMI".
