I will be very surprised if Cheika doesn't bring Phipps straight into the starting side with Gordon and Powell fighting for the bench spot. I will be very disappointed, but I can see it happening.
Yeah, you'd have to say that's us. The fall from Genia to next best is rather large. No Genia for the June tests - we're in all sorts of trouble..

I will be. What's Phipps played this season, 80 minutes max?I will be very surprised if Cheika doesn't bring Phipps straight into the starting side with Gordon and Powell fighting for the bench spot. I will be very disappointed, but I can see it happening.

Sums it up. Him and the rest of the planet bar the Kiwis. Even the North, formerly in awe of Super Rugby, are slagging us off.At this point, the former Brumbies coach does not even follow the top-flight XV competition.
"I actually find it stale to be honest," he said.
What I have been saying about Australian Pro players having very poor base skills in depth apart from a few natural talents such as Folau's aerial skills is now being said by current coaches. I expect Friend will never get another gig in AUstralia while RA remains in place, he has broken from their script, and may well be an explanation why they appointed a new coach a week out from the major tournament for the year. 'We'll teach Friend a lesson for not toeing the line' he was obviously not on track with the Chieka, Larkham, Kafer coaching axis.

Yes gnostic, those same coaches who coach teams that play nearly all their games at night but train during the day. And then offer up dew on the ground as an excuse for handling errors.
Kafer, with his commentating hat on, generally offers this up before a game has started to cover what will follow.
Wouldn't you think that teams which played all their games at night would do at least some (if not all) of their ball work at night?

Beale came back better, but is quickly regressing back to where he was in the elite systems that are Australian Rugby.
Certainly not the worst idea UTG, but I fear we'll fill any wing vacancy with a N013 playing out of position (Hodge, Rona).
Wallabies assistant coach Stephen Larkham says Quade Cooper is wasting his time playing club rugby in Brisbane if he wants to represent Australia again.
Larkham, arguably the Wallabies’ greatest ever No.10, has urged Cooper to seriously consider moving Super Rugby clubs after the Queensland Reds effectively closed the door on one of their favourite sons.
