Beecroft!!!! The Croftie boys get the job done this time and pick up the win over Pats that they should've had earlier in the year. Awesome effort at Hudson by the boys. With a tough end to the year Pats will be looking over there shoulders with Hills, Briars and Uni all coming home hard.

Another huge effort at Drummoyne oval for Drummoyne to knock off the undefeated Blueys in 1s. It’s Blueys year to lose, but looks like they have some competition.
Not to mention the Forest boys desperately unlucky against Waverly. Might spell the end for there club champs hopes

St Pats look right at home in Div 2. All the carry on when they got put down a division yet they’ve done fuck all to prove anyone otherwise. How you gonna throw the game away against a club looking for 15 blokes who aren’t under 21. What a choke hahahaha.

Div 4 tips
Hornsby
(1) v Redfield (7)
Chatswood (5) v Raptors (2)
Wakehurst (4) v Renegades (3)
Canterbury (6) v Kings (8)

4 from 4, tho not the hardest week to pick after seeing everyone play multiple times now.

Tough games against Wakehurst. Named 2 teams but almost none of that made it from the list onto the field!

Didn't get dived on this week which was a bonus.

Seems lindfields opponents regularly fall over randomly week in, week out. Been a while since a newly promoted club had been so successful first year back in kentwell.

Must have been some ladies day for the old soldiers.

Look like a well coached, aggressive outfit.

Smokey to go back 2 back if blueys fall away?

Was down at Lindfield yesterday for their Ladies Day against Mosman. An absolute cracking day start to finish.

They would certainly be in the top tier of contenders for consideration to host the best Ladies Day events.

Their Kentwell side played some great footy and are on a roll. Next weeks match against a mightily impressive and well drilled/coached Hunters Hill will be a corker and Eastcoast likely to be short odds to pick that one correctly.

In the Mickey Mouse comp Newport secured the Barraclough Cup Minor premiership with an entertaining win over Petersham.

With 2 rounds to go + 2 wet weather games next Saturday it’s game on with 5 clubs still in contention to fill places 2-4 and secure a finals spot

Hills vs Briars & Newport vs UNSW next weekend for catch up wet weather will keep the ball rolling. St Pats at this stage still control their own destiny, for them they need to beat UNSW & Newport to guarantee finals footy.

A lot of competitive games but more so below Newport, who are 9 from 9.

Next best Pat's with 5 from 9. Losses to Hold and Beecroft probably not in the plan.

Div 3 - Round 12:

Hawkesbury Valley (5) at Merrylands (1): Merrylands by 20.

Sydney Irish (2) at Knox (4):
Knox by 3.

Sydney Harbour (3) at Lane Cove Old Ignations (7): Harbour by 12.

Old Barker (8) at Sydney Harlequinns (6):
Quinns by 10.

Results: 3/4
Merrylands by 38
Irish by 1
Harbour by 3
Quinns by 16

Merrylands with a dominant showing, shaking off last weeks draw, all but ending Valleys finals hopes.

Almost picked the upset in what looked like a cracker of a game. A clinical Irish put Knox in a 20 point hole early, 6 lead changes in the second half and a penalty on the buzzer to win it.

Far closer than I think anyone would have envisioned, seems like a fresh group of players in for LCOI lately who actually led at half time. Will be very interesting to see how they perform rest of the way, the spoon race just got interesting!

Quinns did what they needed to at home. Will be looking for Barker to boil over Knox in their double points make up round next week to help their finals push.

Go the wallabies.

Poor tipping from myself over the weekend. Was almost 1/4 until a late Waverley surge. Impressed by Lindfield who seem to have confirmed a Semi final spot with that victory on the weekend. Will be great to see them live this week as they have been very strong physically over the last few weeks. Look forward to seeing some old friends from Lindfield on the sidelines this weekend!

Any news on what St Pats issue is this year? Loss of players or just not a cohesive unit? 2nd place might be false security considering a loss this week could see them drop to 6th.

You should see my NRL tipping!! Just rubbish, I'm not seeing winners anywhere on the paddock or on the horses....

Briars are finding form at the right time of the season and have really stepped up their physicality. To me they are a real smokey to cause carnage and heartbreak come finals time.

St Pats will be absolutely kicking themselves to let that game go and have Beecroft romp in three 2nd half converted tries have left them with 2 must wins to finish.

Newport 43 UNSW (A), Epping bye, St Pats (H)
St Pats 23 UNSW (A), Newport (A)
Briars 23 Hills (A), Beecroft (A), Hills (H)
Hills 23 Briars (H), Petersham (H), Briars (A)
Beecroft 19 Briars (H), Petersham (A)
UNSW 19 Newport (H), St Pats (H)

Given Hills and Briars have 3 games left, 2 against each other I am going to say the finals will look like this.

1. Newport
2. Briars
3. Hills
4. St Pats

However I could be very very wrong....
