The forecast quantity isn't huge but you're right: not going to take much in a saturated environment.

Several RL clubs out here have been forced to use the Field of Dreams after cutting up their own grounds badly. The ground is now getting used almost every day and while still solid underfoot, has definitely lost some of its lustre.

Not the field of dreams as well. I’m not sure what to believe in anymore!

What would they do for Promotion or Relegation? Not that I believe a one up and one down is the solution for 2025

The days of players backing up Sat-Sun are long gone, even more so over several weekends. If previous wash outs cannot be played for double points they should be called draws. Cards fall where they land.

What's wrong with a wednesday nighter? Recall not too fondly having to head out to St Pats to play a Whiddon cup game on a cold Wednesday night once upon a time..

I expect teams that will need a win to make finals will push heavily for a midweek game in the last week. Teams that need to makeup games but wont make up finals will probably forfeit if they need to play midweek back up games.

Few better than the SCG sized cricket wicket at Lindfield.

Blueys have got the correct balance with a single wicket in the middle of their ground!

Interesting to see who will let games go ahead. Currently HH are on the bottom oval at Boronia. Tomorrow hopefully has no rain so the track doesnt deteriorate as the day progresses.
Any other council updates from the other teams?

Colleagues shifted to Woollahra 3 with a clash at 3:15 with a Jeffery cup game according to fuse sport

Is it possible to add an extra wet weather weekend at the end of the season, or is it to late with the finals booked. In div 2 this week, the only game going ahead is Newport v Hills (grade only). UNSW now have 3 rounds to makeup.

Some lucky clubs getting on today with pretty much all grounds closed, a lot of clubs still scratching there heads on how to get the catch up games played
