Super Rugby-TT: Rd 1 Waratahs v Hurricanes, May 14th, SCG

I am at the game at scg and gob smacked at how bad defence been from tahs. I don’t give a fig about kiwis defence but seriously tahs defence coach you have a lot of work ahead of you. Mark N (Nawaqanitawase) needs to be dropped for one for his defensive efforts tonight as absolutely no idea how to mark up players defensively let alone tackle.

I mean seriously to score 36 points and lose a game wtf.I am really pissed

i totally get it but how many times have we scored this many points in attack?

Bs referring 4th penalty in a row an no kiwi player goes to the bin - this game really pissing me off and moreso for tahs to score highest points all season but lose for flakey defence.

Well a lot of points in a very average game, players and officials have been all seemed to be same.

Is this a good game. Really 59 to 43. Are these teams soooooooo explosive, uncontainable attacks. It's like watching the TV shopping channel where nothing, absolutely nothing will stick to that new Teflon magnetite stone frypan. Not even burnt milk.

Alright lets just wait to see your fucking side concede 40+ to the kiwis and then you can talk as much smack as you want.

No this wasn't a defensive masterclass, but I enjoyed that. I expected the canes to put a cricket score on NSW, but that was only half the story. Still a ways to go for the Tahs, but maybe not as far as we thought.
With you Dave, and it was a good entertaining game to have on FTA. Us rusted ons can pick apart the flaws in the game but I reckon the casuals would have enjoyed it.

Well, I enjoyed that, despite all the flaws and the bagging out by most here, it was fun to watch. The defense by the Tahs backs was pathetic, with Mark N (Nawaqanitawase) one of the worst I have ever seen. It may be bias, but I thought the Tahs pack actually got a points victory on the night. I also though the Tahs were exceptional at 9 and 10.
Canes outside backs had an absolute field day, the Tahs have to fix that or they will concede some very big points.
For mine Bell was the best forward on the field.

That score was as big as Australia's budget deficit. By tomorrow's papers it will be paid down to Canes 27 defeat Tahs 12. That's good policy!
