Mate, the Reds were supposed to monster the Tahs in the forwards. You lose one player and all of a sudden you get pushed off the ball almost every scrum. A VERY young Tahs almost won a match they were supposed to lose by plenty. Lots to be happy with, but as a Reds fan I would be seriously worried about the Brumbies and the Force.

Very young?

Porecki is 29
Cridge is 27
Holloway is 29
Gamble is 25
Gordon is is 28
Foketi is 27
Newsome is 27.

And then the replacement Tahs scrum lost them the game, so I’m not sure your point?

If anything it shows the value in what the key players bring.

Enjoy filling that stadium mate. Oh wait.

In terms of Super Rugby experience I meant. Plenty of kids who are early 20’s. Reds should have blown them off the park. The front row was lucky not to get a yellow card. If one player (Tupou) makes that much difference, thenReds are going to struggle big time this year.

You are right, the fact they were so close at the end shows how terrible the Reds were. Tahs weren’t supposed to get in cooee of them.
The replacement scrum was just as good, still earned penalties. Line out different story.

Also missing Paisami and Wright and lost the captain McDermott in the first half.

I love hearing losing teams say “you’ll struggle against xxx” - come on mate you’re better than that. Each game is its own. The Tahs win one game against the brand new Fiji team and suddenly the supporters have a voice.

As an aside to all this witty reparte; Went out last minute to watch the game, Game kicks off, there’s a hundred people waiting in line for tickets, about the same waiting to enter. 10 minutes later, neither line had moved, with the exception of people (me) giving up and going home to watch on telly.

What constitutes a dropped ball being lost forward these days? With how Damon interpreted the law, I genuinely confused at what a knock on is.

Is it, if it goes back originally and then a hint of forward roll it's a knock on?

I’ll stop baiting Tahs supporters now, I apologise.

I have to say Perese looked good. He made his own space which is a real benefit to the team. I hope he keeps developing as I had written him off as a loser with all the past stuff that’s happened. So I am very happy to see him come good.

Hahahaha, and we have arguably the best loose forward in Australia and one of the best in the world out. Also Swintonmissing. Just face it, the Reds were poo compared to the hype coming in to this match.

Daugunus looked less obvious than the Tahs hooker in the next play. At least his hands were pointing back.

I think we are going to see this weekend that beating the Rebels isn’t anything to hype about.

It has been fun going tit for tat with you mate. Sleep easy.

That’s a shame mate. Sorry to hear - both for the game and for you.

Sorry to hear that mate. Any idea what the problem was?

Amateur stuff from the grounds and hurts our game. I’ve made a few jokes about the ground but honestly it’s a good place to watch footy, or so I thought.

Leichardt is a stupid fucking place.
