I cannot understand why Seru Uru does not get a lot more time on the field. Reminds me a tiny bit of Itoje.
Yep Uru is great - he does play a role though which gets noticed quite well, high volume of carries and high effort defensively. I do wonder how it would hold up over 80mins week in week out, he would want to be fit!

In saying that ASY (Angus Scott-Young) who traditionally is one of the background toilers who gets the job done was quite off last night I reckon, not just the dropped ball, but missed a few tackles and seemed out of sorts.

How do Tahs supporters rate Donaldson’s game last night?

Conditions were suited to a playmaker who liked to sit back in the pocket and facilitate, but he actually seemed more active with ball in hand than last week.

I like that they’re trying new things, I don’t mind the pre-match build up stuff, just swap him with someone else.
Taking out his pre-game thing, which I didn't see (but revving up the "crowd" is reasonable, I think) and the selected issue of the cleanout, his analysis at other times that I have seen is pretty good.
I know he isn't many peoples' cup of tea, but he has pretty good coaching experience and does have some good insights into the game. They need to keep him on that.

Absolutely agree, his analysis is great and I'd love to see more of that. He's not great at the emotive/colour commentary stuff though and the ref stuff was entirely unnecessary.

If they really want to do ref analysis I'd prefer they do it mid-week, ideally with a recent or current ref involved and focusing on positives as much or more as any missed calls or contentions decisions. I think it'd have to be part of an entirely new analysis focused show though, Rugby Heaven is not the right tone for that.

I've watched the game. It was stunning, epic! It looked like a State of Origin from 80s in a Rugby League field. A bit of biff, hate, rain, a lot of passion, tackles.

I see a completely different Tahs side, with more passion, compromise, unity, staying together fighting til the end. Darren Coleman is a genius or anything is a step forward respect to the last year performance. I have not idea, it's too early to say it but I see a lot of improvement here until now

More starting games will help him. Has only played 5 or 6 from the get go... given Lolesio and Harrison have had many more I like him. A few wrong options and missed kicks but Lolesio and others have had plenty of shockers ...his kicks for touch gain more than most imho, a valuable asset in relieving pressure. As long as they don’t dump him like the Rebels did to Carter. Hodge and To’omua weren’t exactly outstanding and they drop Carter!

Our wingers would be starved and I'd be really worried about our defensive organisation. Perese should definitely be understudying Kerevi as our alternative power centre though, just don't think we can start them together.
YoY probably are right - just two favourite centres at the moment but yes probably too similar a players perhaps

Perese has to be one of the starting wallaby centres, put him with Kerevi pretty powerful combo
Issue I have with Perese at the moment is that he runs at players and not the space, yes he is has strength in contact and can bump players, but just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

He could be much more devastating then he is if he looked to run lines for space and only used the bump if required.

Additionally he looks to bump and then pass, which looks good and occasionally leads to a break but doesn’t allow for fluid backline move.

One person on here would have likened it to Hitler in footy boots.
I could be wrong but he appeared to be playing to a game plan; cut it out wide for the outside back to then look inside to Perese, trying to give him some space against a less set defensive line. Like I’m sure Coleman would’ve instructed him to run the attack a certain way. He maybe showed a lack of maturity in sticking to that when different options presented themselves and I’m sure he will come away with a few regrets but he’s a good player who will get better with time.

By the way tab players I have really noticed this week were

- turner who I thought was more tennative and less assured last week against the drua was much more confident, direct and threatening
- Perese - x factor and constant threat your felt of breaking the line
- Holloway and cridge - what a combo with great work rate and impact. Cridge been astute signing and hope injury not too bad
- gamble - man has he finally come good as immense over the ball
- porecki - immense around the park and can see now why they brought him back from uk
- bell and HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) - you see how much impact they have when off the field although replacement props better this week
- Harris - man where has he been but definitely arrived this season

It's currently pissing down and has been for most of the day. I was locked in to go with a group of 9 mates who have now all pulled the pin due to the weather, they will be lucky to get >5k. Now trying to find a pub that is showing it which is nigh on impossible, disaster.
Noticed Doncaster Hotel in Kensington had SRAo on last week. Sorry, a bit late.
