Marto wetting himself over every kiwi player is the most annoying thing ever. "Ben Lam, what a man," shut up mate.

12 Wallabies v some back water NZ team and we were smoked. Holy moly . good luck to Brumbies, Tahs and Reds

Reds and Tahs would have put up a far bigger fight. That was a record win for the Hurricanes on Aussie soil.

Utterly pathetic.

Rebels just couldn't get their hands on the ball in the second half and started to panic, giving away a succession of quite stupid penalties. They will be better, but depend too much on Mafi. Wessells must have had the same opinion as me on Koriobete's game tonight. He was very poor, missing tackles and out of position on too many occasions.

Is Ben Lam any relation to Lala and Jack Lam? Similar looks.

Ouch.
Logical hat on - I think it will be tough - the Canes can be scary good!
How about just plain scary. The Rebels, having started well, lost shape, but the ability of the Canes to sniff a whiff of a chance and kill you with it is something else.

Rebs looked good 1st half running hard with Genia right on point but it flattered to deceive, a marsipan carob of delectation. When it came time for a second wind there was absolutely sweet fuck-all there in the way of imagination, craft or guile. 2-D vs 3-D.

Beaten out wide again. Both losses to teams with firepower out wide and once they figure that out the forwards seem to crumble too. Same thing happened with reds and brumbies but they did not have the clout in the backs to take advantage of it.

Worst thing for me was leaving the ground with all the cocky kiwi fans... They are not humble winners.

maybe they could hear MAAAARRRDDOOO from the fucken commentary booth, flagellating himself into a patriotic frenzy, this matchup is the same standard as NZ daaaaaarbies as he rubber truncheoned his dick all over our poor, unwitting fucken heads. It was some sweet comeuppance for some of us subjected to his tubthumping once his heroes ran out of puff, ideas, clues and more puff after 45 mins, Canes with repeated vicious stabbing motions to deflate his raging hard pincer of a Shell Oil drill-bit stiffy.

Yes well, I have no defense for Mardo. Wish Fox Sports would just drop him from the team.

Marto's "tubthumping" became much more objective once he realised the game was gone. Really sounded like he wanted a piece of Ben Lam by the end of it.

Tactically to smart. Played Naki out of the game by kicking to him every time. Knowing he’s not going to pass he ran everything back. Awesome against lower teams but against smart teams hmmm. No build ups from the Canes, just hard work.

2 fast, 2 clinical. Not much else to say, the best performance by any team all season.

Wessels has to acknowledge the limitations of his pack when selecting going forward, both times he’s picked that pack it’s been demolished into the second. Desperately need a fetcher and or at least a body able to cover the spacing in defense quicker. Coleman does not look like an 80min player atm and think Talaki should come in to sure that scrum, just aren’t getting enough from Ainsley around the park to justify his set piece work.

Anyway onwards and upwards..... hopefully

Sorry but that was an absolute disgraceful peformance by the rebels in the second half and with the quality of that roster an embarassment. This was an opportunity to build greater support in terms of a fan base but they won’t continue to even get the sort of crowds they got last night with that sort of rubbish.
