mmm...Chiefs should be up to the Sharks, Lions V Canes might be exciting! Can the Jaguares get up against the Kings?

Chiefs should beat the Sharks despite the injuries, Jaguares at home against the Kings is a no brainer. For mine, the clash of the round is Lions vs Hurricanes and I expect the lions to take it. They have been very impressive and the Hurricanes less so. Bogan Barrett may have got a million fantasy points last week but I was not very impressed with his game management.

I said it on the rugby forum betting page, the sharks must be the worst team at holding the ball in contact in the entire comp, particularly by their loose forwards

Quality half. Bit error ridden perhaps, but exciting, as the Kiwis have said, Sharks have decided the pace and style of the game, and the Chiefs have had a really difficult time trying to change that.

Chiefs are self imploding, Highlanders style. They're trying to throw miracle balls all of a sudden, running into touch. Oi vey.

Kicking the ball out on the fall, missing touch on penalties, 50m swings. That is the only way the Sharks are going to win, giving them piggy back rides to your own half, coz they sure as shit won't get there themselves.

Sharks 10 looks good though.

Chiefs are easing themselves back into this game. Signs of a great side, adjusted what wasnt working, upped the tempo and working on the accuracy - seeing some results for it.

Will be surprised if thats not the game of the round. Classic battle between 2 sides playing very different styles. Real quality and entertainment.

The confidence to not take the shots at goal in those last few minutes was inspiring.

Agree with all your posts.

Agree with not taking the points as well. Better to keep the Sharks pinned in the 22. Take note Highlanders, that is how you turn a difficult game into a win.

Only saw the second half but looks like Chiefs can win ugly as well as purty, sure sign of a potential Championship team. Shawks staying fourth in the Africa Group & having played at least an extra game than the three above them is also pleasing from a rugby fan's POV.

Yes, April looked the goods, would be better in a team that played more rugby.

He'll get better. Its only his second start and as soon as he get confidence he'll be very good. Interesting stat is that April & Jantjies spend some time at the Afrikaans school of Paarl Gym. Another example of true transformation.
