By god we play boring shit.

It works against weaker teams but when the oppo fronts in the forwards we have nothing.

Meyer is doing absolutely nothing new. Same old same old.

Meh.

What a painful test to watch.

If Strauss didnt get that Intercept try, Scotland wouldnt have kicked to the corner with their 4 penalties and may well have won that game.

Defense is about the only average aspect of this team at the moment. I'm not sure what Ricardo "I played a test once" Loubsher brings to the table as a backline coach, but it cant be much.

I'm picking England to rout us next week. When last have we done a clean sweep of the year end tests?

The players who no willingness to move the ball.

It can only be coaching and the game plan. There are more than enough creative players in the team.

This game plan is outdated and jaded and will never win anything of substance again.

Basic skills are poor. The amount of knock ons from Bok players was laughable.

Still dont understand the plan around picking Lambie. Obvious they want him to play kicking and he is not good with this. Then he may just bring back Morne. Most frustrating watch Vetgat CJ vd Linde getting his arse handed to him on a platter. He alone nearly cost us this test and hope this was his last test in a Bok jersey. Surely they must rather try Cilliers or Malherbe. If they dont crack it at least they are young and will learn from the experiense but vokken CJ? Ditto Klein Flippie, what a headless player he is. Thought Duanne had his best test , Flo excellent and Alberts also. They sure develope in a good combo, Ysterbeth like per usual, Strauss outstanding and Guthro unfit. The backline troubles start with Pienaar, kicking like the skirt wearers, Lambie 10 metres and surely we need a 9 and 10 who can get out the ball quick and put the outside backs in space. England look like a massive mountain to climb this weekend. If we dont dominate them physical up front we are in big trouble.

I wondered into this thread to see if I could find an answer to the question when the Battleship will be back. I too watched the Saffa v the Single Malts game and thought it was a pretty poor performance by your boys all round.

Looking at the posts, I might as well have stayed on the threads about the Men in Gold.

Poor Coach, No Game plan, useless #10, clueless #9, can't kick, can't pass, won't pass, can't catch, useless and lazy fatties, etc etc. That is all we get on the Wobs threads. :)

We long suffering Wobbolies supporters know what you are going through, but at least you came away with the trophy after your game at Murrayfield. We are 0-2 from our recent outings against the Single Malts.

When will the Battleship be back on the field for the Saffas?

He did his knee at roughly the same time Genia did (maybe a couple of weeks earlier).

I think he will be back around March or April. Any earlier would really be pushing it from a rehab point of view.

^^ I thought it was about the same time as Bam Bam (Bled 1 in Sydney), who as you say was a couple of weeks earlier than Genia (Argies @ Gold Coast?).

Bam Bam is now back on the park (sort of).

The Battleship's knee must have been a more serious injury (vs Pumas in Saffaland?) if he won't be sacked from Saffa Team Rehab until after Super Rugby '13 starts.

Genia and du Plessis both tore their ACL requiring a knee reconstruction.

Pocock had a cartilage injury. I can't find the specific details but I'm guessing he had his meniscus repaired.

Well at least Strauss has made the step up to test level. I am more worried about Schalks knee. Look like he wont play rugby again.

PaarlBok, that would be a pity to see him bow out of footy in that manner.

Much to my eternal and xenophobic embarassment, the Schalk was one of the Junior Jarses favourite players, still is. Shame for him.

They made the wrong decision when he injured his knee and should have operated it immediately. When they opt they did the wrong one aswell, so all in all it look like he wont play again. Time will tell but I am not optimitic about this one. He loast a lot of weight and power since that injury.

This is my problem. Pienaar and Lambie together should be allowed to attack the line. Pienaar is at his best when he plays to the line and Lambie plays flat for the Sharks.

He is trying to get these guys to play like Fourie Doep and Moernaai did and they aren't as good at that and the game has moved on. Let these guys attack.

We need to adapt our game plan. Meyer needs to wake up.

I don't understand why vd Merwe did not start. And why did he drop Cilliers? He has been good every time he has come on this season. He is a bloody good player that guy. It's stupid shit really.

Also did Juan de Jongh receive the ball once? I don't think so. He is the kind of player who needs someone to create space for him. It was rubbish.

This sucks about Schalk. Who is going to Captain us through to the World Cup? Surely not Jean? I can't see him keep it up for another 3 years.

We have so many questions but Meyer should not keep dicking around with this shit gameplan.

Role for the Bok captaincy is still wide open... Interesting to note that the VC at the moment is Adriaan Strauss... . . who will not crack a starting role next year, which just goes to show that there are no natural successors to JS in the current team.

This is going to be a very interesting conundrum for the coaches next year. My money is on BdP for the Captaincy.

He only tried to keep the skirt wearer upright. Vokket.

Yes. By holding him round the head and pulling, causing his neck to twist. That's dangerous. I can see how he got himself into that situation, but when he got into that position he had to release his head. Etsebeth has been to the Bismark school of maul play. In SA that type of play is considered hard, but the day someone gets a broken neck from that type of play all hell will break loose.

Players must learn not to attack the head of other players or suffer the judicial consequences. If not, then the likelihood is long term quadriplegia for some player. No one wants that.

That having been said, the judicial system is in such a mess that this could be anything from a let-off to 20 weeks. Its a lottery.
