Hopefully the freedom makes a difference to his game as it would be great to see the Lambie from S15 on the international stage. A lot of pundits up here have branded Lambie limited and of the usual SA flyhalf mould.

What surprises me more than that is how little pundits/commentators watch club rugby from the opposite hemisphere as anyone who had seen him in S15 would not put that label on him and would instead be wondering why he hasn't reproduced it for SA. Some of them don't even watch the major international tournament from the opposite hemisphere (6Ns or TRC).

It's clear our boys don't either to be honest.

Lambie is a good attacking flyhalf and hopefull he wont try and do the up and under shite from last week. Hope he nail that 10 jersey and get the backs going.

Don't rate Ben Youngs. I faintly remembering him being good a few years back but nowadays he looks slow and seems to make poor decisions.

On the other side of the coin is Danny Care who's very unreliable and can be silly off the field but generally gives the game good pace. Kind of like Quade Copper I guess, though he's produced at international level more often then Quade has.

Thanks god the season is over. I could not watch another performance like that.

The only entertaining thing in the whole match was watching Corbisiero scrum at 90 degrees and Nigel Owen's rewarding him for it.

Seriously what the fuck is going on with our backline. There is no plan.

Now I can focus on the NFL. At least I will be entertained and watch teams with carefully laid plans execute them. Except for the Blicks rugby ain't got much of that going around right now. This series of test rugby has been a borefest except for Samoa getting up and the Blicks doing as they do. Everyone else just sucks eggs.

That overhead shot of the scrum we got penalised for shows what a absolute lottery the reffing was in this match.
Agree fully, thank god the season is over.

What was the penalty count!!

I have to agree with you, unfortunately. No decent rugby teams around to challenge the All Blacks, who are at the top of their game. I said to someone last night, the All Blacks should be ranked 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the IRB rankings that's how much better they are at the moment. I long for the rugby from the 90s. I'm sure it was less cynical too.

Anyway, the rugby the All Blacks are playing is fantastic to watch. As always they seem to do the basics so damn well, and I don't think that's just a coaching thing, I think it's something that's bred into them from when they pick up a ball.

Apart from the ABs, I really enjoyed watching the French play against Australia a few weeks ago. Not a great night for Australia, but as a neutral the French were sharp, set pieces very good, low mistakes and played with purpose.

The Springboks are just dire. Must be terrible for neutrals to watch. Hard, brutal and tense finish is about all the positives you could say.

We got a lucky try. The Ysterbeth incident was just screwed up by the AR. How they could penalies him after the Poms full pack attacked him from everywhere was pretty much weird. Luckily our lot did not reacted. But it was close. The biggest positive was our defense that looked pretty solid on this tour.
