I remember catching him in some of the UQ highlights from last season. Fast, taller/stronger/heavier (looks about 6' and 95kg) than Aidan but still very, very quick.
He's probably got the nastiest goose step in the entire squad! He's just one of those guys that always gets the other team to pay attention when he has the ball in hand.

Expect the completely unexpected. Spectators at the Uni v GPS game at GPS last year may recall the game he had - an intercept try where he stepped three sets of defenders, a cross-field kick just before halfway that looked like a total brain explosion until the winger stormed on to it and ran the 50m or so to score... his personal tally of 3 tries all came from unconventional means.
Defensively he wasn't great last year, but this year (having only seen some Reds A games and a Uni trial) he's showing more composure and much better technique. I don't think he's Turner-esque yet, but he's improving. If he gets the ball in broken play or with a wonky defensive line he is lethal.

Thiswill be a big call but he seems to shed defenders in the same manner as Falou. Israel has always seemed to be able to just melt players off him for no apparent reason, he looks similar.
The only thing I don't like is post try celebrations in club rugby.

As a Reds fan don't expect much from the young fella, it's his first super rugby game, the nerves will be incredible..

So what a whirlwind debut for Jonah Placid.. Subbed on, let's in a try (through no real fault of his own, a 4 man overlap), is penalised for tackling a player in the air, cops a knee to the injured? sternum in the process, and drags himself over to the sidelines. Debut over.

We just seem to have no confidence at the moment.
It's not a lot of fun to watch this reds team. Not too sure what the core problem actually is.
I have to ask though, do the reds purposefully practice forward passing at training? I am sure we must have highest number of forward passes of any professional team, and I can only think this comes from something that is happening at training.

I have many views on what has gone wrong this year from top to bottom but I'll save them for when less filled with rage.
The $6 million dollar question is: when reds memberships fall south of 15k next year, will Carmichael and his thirst for the almighty dollar pull the trigger on the coaching staff? Or will they wait until next season is over and the organisation is in a state not seen since Jones was coaching.

Read you're comment before watching the video and was expecting Tim Tebow stuff. Didn't think any of it was over the top.
The last one where he threw the ball isn't my cup of milo, but he had just beaten 4 guys and really had no right to score that one. He has a good turn of pace.
