a unanimous survey back in 2001 only unearthed only 6% who admitted to steroid use at some point in there career, that was prior to a crackdown on steroid use.
I assume that was meant to read "an anonymous", TOCC?

Also, I would back Pocock to pretty much humilate anyone in the NFL in any kind of physical contest. My man love for The Cock is quite strong today I must admit.
I realise this is from a Mungo but he is a QLDer, I wonder if he could have been a handy player in the forwards?yes i get what LG(Bruce Ross) is saying though, max bench press has little relevance when it comes to tying in with core strength..
http://www.sportsnewsfirst.com.au/articles/2010/12/22/dave-taylor-xmas-diet/Taylor says the weight loss will allow him to further maximize his power.
Unlike his team mates who spend this time of the year busily training in the weight room, the Queensland Origin star will be lightening his load with an enormous 180kg bench press record for his club.

A 180 bench is pretty huge, I'd be a bit surprised to see many people manage it if even for a 1rep max effort. If Sanchez can manage 175 I'll be very impressed but I'd guess that's more his squat weight.
That is either an excellent Max Bench or a very poor Max Squat.
I've also heard Genia is a very impressive bencher.
Some little guys are strong. The Broncos used to do a test where you lie face down on the bench and pull the weight towards the bench, Alfie Langer held the record for this test!

The bench pull has a fair degree of specifity for rugby; the bench press has almost none.
well the bench press is quite relevant when it comes to fending and rucks
I know 180 is pretty huge but I could have sworn I heard that Genias pb was 175kgs on the bench.
As relevant as bicep curls for when you're picking up and using a water bottle at halftime..
Genia benched 170kg which was the same as Pocock & Ioane. So if Taylor were a Wallaby he'd have the best bench press in the team.
id expect Alexander or Maafu to be able to bench at least close to that weight
I want to see some of the league player's stats.
Some people are just going to be genetically weak in certain areas, doesn't mean that aren't well conditioned.
