Nope, his scrummaging was pretty good bar one scrum where the Rebels got the early shove on..
Actually for a bloke on debut against a seasoned and all-wallaby front row he did very bloody good..
Rebels have the 3rd best scrum in Australia and would have been licking their lips at the prospect of lining up against a hooker and prop who only have a handful of caps between them.
Daley is still the better scrummager, contrary to popular opinion on here his scrummaging this year has been pretty dam good, unfortunately for him he looks to be gone for the season so Sef will be stepping up until Slippers return.

Agree that Sef should be behind Slipper (and probably ahead of Dales) and said so before the game. I also said the kid will be much better for the experience. I'm sure he will improve quite markedly when he gets to play the last 20 minutes against tyhe reserve front rowers. His confidence will grow and grow. Chucked in too early can be damaging for a young front rower. ( re Tongan Thor)
Dales is now in a bad place. Out for the season and in contract negotiations. I expect he will not be re-signed for a few reasons.
1. He has never been dominant at LHP and his scrummaging (for some reason or other) has been lacking since he joined the Reds as a youngster. He has the body shape but just doesn't seem to have that "something" that makes OK props into very good props. The attribute that has saved him in the past has been his work around the field. This year I think his scrummaging improved but the other aspect or strength to his game, suffered.
2. He has copped lots of injuries and they seem to be increasing. Did he play games last year ? If so, not many.
3. The youngsters: Sef and others are starting to come through. They will be less costly and bring more potential. That has to be the reason the Reds refused to re-sign Greg Holmes - crazy on that score.
4. RG was a supporter of the bloke and he is gone.
Saying all of that Dales has been a survivor and will recover from this injury. Must be bloody frustrating for him though.
