Still no details on what happened except the pair have admitted they were involved in a late night incident.

They've both given a statement to police but appears they aren't investigating. Seems like no complaint made by the victim?

Only new bit of information:

On Monday, the Rebels confirmed that contracted player Pone Fa’amausili and extended contracted player Hunter Paisami were both under investigation after an altercation with a man in the early hours of Sunday morning.



It’s understood that Fa’amausili has given a statement to police, though no charges have been laid.

They both admitted their “presence”, not “involvement”. Quite different things. I still have questions over the sister’s Facebook post. She made a point to name them several times in Capitals in her post and tag the Melbourne Rebels. There is much more to this. Certainly, if they were involved then see you later, guys, but something seems to be amiss.

This may shed some light on the background. Based on these facebook comments, appears to be a bit of a family dispute. If I can join the dots; Hunter's GF is the sister of Rudy (the guy who was king hit).

It may explain why Pone provided a statement to Police, where Hunter is yet to provide one. Perhaps seeking legal counsel?
