Are you suggesting we have to complete page 100?
I thought we just had to get there.
I thought we just had to get there.
I don't think le Hornet knew that his would be the inaugural page 99 post ILTW..
Reds 2011 had around 150 pages, Waratahs 2013 thread will surely beat that though. 113 pages and the year hasn't even started yet.
There goes the QRUs target of 40,000 members for next year.
If, as now seems likely, Cooper walks away from Australian rugby to either join an overseas rugby club, switch to league or, like his close friend Sonny Bill Williams, embark on a boxing career, his departure would trigger one of the most explosive confrontations in the history of Australian rugby.
Queensland officials are known to be appalled by the ARU's handling of the Cooper saga, believing its treatment of him to border on vindictive.
If he was to be prevented from playing for the Reds, the side he guided to the Super Rugby title last year, the ARU could find itself at war with one of its biggest and most influential stakeholders. In particular, Queensland rugby heavyweights are convinced Cooper's views on the Wallabies are shared by many senior players.
For all of the negative portrayals of Cooper as a troublemaker, he remains one of the most popular players in the game. Despite missing most of the 2012 international season, he still embarrassed the ARU by finishing as a finalist in the People's Choice Award at the John Eales Medal dinner
Hey mate, I think it's been mentioned before that if Quade doesn't want to leave the Reds, and wants to either a) have a tilt at another Super title or b) play out of his skin and make it back in then sign a huge deal next year, he can sign that ARU contract with no skin off his nose. That's fundamentally all that would happen if the ARU sanctioned his QRU contract anyway. Alternately, he indicates that he does have a dollar focus and/or lacks the goods to improve his game physically or mentally and/or is thick/advised by poor role models.to now seemingly have the good times sabotaged by the national body is fucking frustrating.
what the hell are the ARU doing? I haven't read the thread. Just heard they are offering him a rubbish deal. They better have a good excuse, like it or not he is one of our best backs.
Summary:
- Off field incidents
- Poor form
- Injuries
- Disciplinary issues
Also, the ARU have at least offered him a deal albeit incentive based, so he'd still earn extra $$$ for playing with the Wallabies.
