Why did you quote my post? Where is the name calling in that. Pretty sure I wasn't the one dropping the c bomb in reference to QC (Quade Cooper) or idiot in reference to Carmeichal.
OK no name calling on your behalf but feign to deny that this particular statement from your post is not a troll that will only end up in some cross border rubbish

"He seems to hate anything to do with the reds. Jealousy maybe?"

So the ARU runs one of its players into the ground - no rest from a long S15 Season, Tri-Nations, and RWC - leads to a busted knee, and then after he doesn't recover well, they fuck him off.

The CEO fucks off, the coach is on his way out, and they think its a good idea to take (arguably) the best fly-half in the country and tell him to fuck off.

That may be one of the shittiest things I've ever seen.

I suspect we do not now the full story of what has been going on behind the scenes over the last year w.r.t. negotiations.

There is a good chance that the ARU have simply had enough and the latest round of negotiations either pushed them over the edge or they could well have called his bluff.

We will never really know.

I am not really surprised though. The relationship was at the brink and would have taken very little to completely break down, which is did unfortunately. Add to that a guy who is going to come back from serious injury and this is not that much of a surprise. ARU took a gap by not begin the one to sever the relationship.

We're all just just speculating.

Terrible shame because he is very talented and in the right environment would have worked on the shortcomings in his game to become even better.

Moral of the story remains. Don't speak out against your employer in public. Especially if you are in negotiation. Hardly surprising if you look at it like that.

Boys, passion and emotions are high. I get it.

But let's back off the state bias crap right now, please. We can discuss the merits or critical issues around the QC (Quade Cooper) story without going within a country mile of state bias.

As you were.

No, they offered him a contract.

He rejected it.

Would you be happy if the ARU did the same thing to McCabe in a years time?

That's the thing I hate the most, that the ARU now has a history of dicking people around. They can do it to anyone, Sanchez also got mucked around a bit didn't he?

I am calling a bloke out for his comments. He wasn't done so when calling QC (Quade Cooper) a c... and penguin queried if what he said against Jim was against the forum rules.

Just trying to sort it out 'in the park'. Qwerty is tough enough to take it.

So do the Kiwi's have it right in that the world's greatest man manager David Nucifora is the genius behind negotiations from the ARU's side?

If so, the "Nuci Touch" will soon enter into the dictionary as the antonym for "Midas Touch". Everything he touches turns to shit...

The move comes after he was offered an incentive-only based contract by the ARU.
The Union's negotiation team, headed by high-performance manager David Nucifora, has been looking to cut total player payments for the past 12 months, and Cooper seems to be a target of this.

Quade is still getting a shitload of money from the QRU contract is he not?

Yes, i believe some time ago it was reported his Reds contract alone was worth more than any mungo club would be able to offer. With Folau looking for a club i doubt many will be looking to free up cash for Cooper.

Your speculation seems to support the ARU. I suspect you would offer a different view if this were a Tahs player.

If the ARU wanted to sever the relationship they should have done so at the hearing, but they obviously didn't have the guts to do so.

So we know it's not an issue of money then.

I recall we had some fun a month or two ago on another thread identifying and defining the Nuci Touch as the anti midas touch.:)

.

Well, since Blue is a Stormers Bulls supporter, perhaps your aim is a bit off.

Scotty, knock off the state shit, please. The argument is done and over. Move on.

not sure what blue will take as the bigger insult, being called a tahs supporter or a stormers fan.
