Dennis's Prediction for the Weekend
NC (42) vs ACGS (12) - Nudgee have been putting on some strong displays and racking up some point and i just think they will be too good.
TSS (29) vs BBC (22) - Think this could be a close one tbh, could lean either way, just think TSS big boys will front up for this game.
TGS (19) vs BSHS (26) - Another close game, i just see think Gramma wont be able to excecute once again but could fall either way here.
IGS (12) vs GT (7) - These 3 ways are going to be really close, just believe ippy are dark horses for this competition.
IGS (17) vs BGS (7) - Same again Ippy will be that tad to strong i believe.
GT (10) vs BGS (7) - This will be the interesting game and will come down to who has more guts.

These are my prediction and are in no way taking shots at teams. This is what ive gathered from the forum lately but i honestly think that all of these prediction could be flipped on the day. Gotta Love school boy footy for the unpredictableness of it all!!!
Cheers
Just curious could you please name one TSS forward that isnt Kingsley or Fafita

I'll be honest with you mate, off the top of my head i can't but everyone knows year in and out TSS seem to produce one of the biggest packs in the comp and that is common knowledge. It was a brief statement to go with my score prediction honestly wouldnt read into it too much. But the backline for TSS is also quite strong with lavender and terblanche and i heard that their fullback is signed with the raiders and i could have just mucked it up from all the drivel.
I really just don't see where TSS have the advantage over BBC other than the fact they don't have to travel.
Please Elaborate though, excited to actaully see some rugby chat on here now.

I believe BBC do take this one with the pair of 9's have returned from injury this is Issac Kefu and new import Harry Munro there are ideas of Kefu playing at the number 10 role which is very intresting but BBC 23-12

I really just like BBC as an all around team you know they just have quality all around whether it be in the backline or in the forward pack they are just a team full of boys who will get the job done well for you.
Yeah Mate hard to argue that after their gritty win against TGS. Personally TSS are in need of a win and will work their asses off to get it but, but on the flip side this could backfire on them.

Here’s another couple that could probably get the axe. Classic schoolboy garbage.
That being said and putting aside the schoolboy drivel, Ben Di Donna was actually one of the great stories out of last year’s GPS comp. It was mentioned by the commentator in the Nudgee v BSHS “Grand Final” coverage. Apparently played B’s pretty well all through school from the 13’s, was dropped to the 3rd’s last year in early pre-season and fought his way back to make the 1st XV squad. Got an opportunity early in the season due to injury and ended up starting for the rest of the season in a team that went on to take an undefeated premiership. I thought it was a great story, particularly given he’s far from the biggest kid floating around and something definitely more interesting to talk about than a lot of the crap spewed out here this afternoon by the “children” on the forum.

I've heard a fair bit about some off these TSS fellas on channel 13 of my two-way recently, in particular, Lavender. From all reports this kid can play and has a fend that rivals Jojo Fifita's from back in the day. Also, the 15 appears to be some kind of talent, as he looks like the best thing to happen to TSS since they added sausage rolls to the tuckshop menu.

Yea RR I have also heard plenty about the TSS 15, he has alot fo talent especially to be pushing dylan terblanche to the wing.

thats quite interesting actually, wouldn't BBC have Isaac start as he has more experience and bring Harry on if Kefus finger is playing up, since Harry is in a younger grade and has less experience especially playing against a solid side in TSS.

JC
it would be good to see Harry get in his flow state early rather then later in the game, he definitely stir some dust in the beginning minutes.

Sometimes in school boy footy and all footy for that matter, some players need to play in different position to benefit the team. In this case Kefu must be able to play to play 10 reasonably well and harry sounds more than ready to slot into that 9 position. Interesting to see how this one pans out.

It certainly will be interesting, he does have a solid kicking game so with abit more time and space at 10 it could be trouble for the Southport boys.

Yeah very true John.
Anyone know the BBC centres, they will have to be primed and ready to go and will have a huge impact on the game.
the BBC centre pairing would have to be one of the most dangerous in the comp with Tai Taka starting at outside centre who IMO was one of the better centres in the comp last year and would be looking to build off of that this year, and you pair that with Kiama Jione who has made the move from No8 to inside centre and is looking to have transitioned well it may end up being TSS centres who will need to bring their A game.

Ohh aplogies on that one, I did know Taka was there. This is shaping up to possibly the game of the week to look out for. What do you guys think will be the game of the week.

like you said Dennis this is definitely the game of the week, nudgee will be better then churchie, however TGS vs state high could show out but i dont think itll be better then BBC vs TSS.

this sounds like music to my ears @GPS Lover, the thought of the K-Train with more open pastures in the backline this year has me biting at the chops. Teams could hardly stop Jione off the back of the scrum last year leaving them with little hope this year as potentially the most damaging ball runner in the GPS joins the backs. If the coaching staff can manage to get Taka and Jione to play in perfect harmony then we could be looking at the best centre pairing since Horan and Little.
