Righto fellas enough's enough.

This forum’s starting to feel less like GPS rugby chat and more like the XXXX tent at the Ekka blokes half drunk, telling tall tales and forgetting why we’re even here.

Let’s park the pub chat for a bit and get back to what matters: the footy. The lads are busting their guts every weekend, and we’re here swapping stubby stories and debating profile pics?

Bit of banter’s good it’s what makes this place great but let’s steer it back to rucks, reps, and real rugby talk. Waterhose off. Footy on.

Cheers,
D.F
Alright then Dale, What's your top 5 locks going into this years GPS season, Wanna know who you feel is going to win and dominate in the lineout, scrums and normal play this season in the row

Cheers

Tusi Played 12 against the Nudgee 16A's last year, and was caught walking 5 minutes in. Bloke did nothing but lose them the game.

Mate, calling Tusi a “star” is like calling a potato a gourmet meal, looks solid, but ultimately brings nothing special. If he can’t run, tackle, or hit rucks for more than five minutes without puffing, he’s not a mismatch, he’s a liability. Its that simple. Save the fairy floss footy for the backs. Tusi belongs in the 2nds.

Jumping in here. These young bucks just need a little time to simmer. Its like cooking a steak, you dont chuck it straight onto the burning hot coals you have to watch it, tend to it and take care of it, we all know that about a good ol' barby. Back to the point, nothing beats a little bit of conditioning, talent like this young star's cant be made in an oven. Its still trial games and Tusi hasn't hit his peak, you have to climb up the mountain to get to the top. Can't wait to see what the TGS coaches do this year, would be keen to see them whipping him into shape for his top performance.

Cheers

Don't know about this mate. Last year I made the trek up to the range and witnessed Tusi carve up the Terrace 16A's backline scoring four tries. I'd go as far as saying that it was one of the most dominant performances in GPS rugby history (albeit 16a's). Tusi made the Terrace boys look like a bunch of u6's playing footy for the first time. I agree his work rate could certainly be better, but someone with this talent simply cannot be playing in the 2nd's.

Afternoon forum, hope everyone has had a footy filled day. hehe . Do we have any names for some 'BIG BOYS' to keep your eyes peeled on the weekend?

OBG
Hey OBG,
Few dominant ones getting around the competition, Angus Underwood from Churchie as well as Big Spencer Parkes are both looking strong. Further on that we have Curtis Lambert from Nudgee, what he lacks in ballskills he makes up for in heart and tikka. Just listing a few there but some dominant packs getting around, keep an eye peeled for that Curtis Lambert kid though I'll tell ya.

Mate Playing Terrace by itself is like playing a bunch of weak minded little children, they lack intensity and the will to put a hit on. Personally If someone like Max Ford is playing 16As it reflects a lot on their depth and how little they value their program. Serious Joke.

Definitely the feared Kingsley Uys.

Nephew reckoned he was benching a whopping 220kg at this morning's gym session.

It lovely seeing the rise of a fellow south african, especially the youngins.

Its gotta be the star from Nudgee, Issac Rauluni, he hasnt had much talk in this forum, what are you gentlemens thoughts about him?
Yeah i honestly dont know why he isnt spoke about more because his size and power is something to watch. I think he will play a huge role in Nudgees drive for a 4th title in a row, especially already playing plenty of 1st XV games, his leadership will shine.

Who’s Got the Toughest Forward Pack This year?
Hard to look past the Nudgee boys here, led by the powerful Ben Didonna it is a masterclass of both brute force and strategic chop tackles. With Levi Slater is a highlight as well as he rampages through opposition packs and dominates them physically and mentally. It is a travesty that ben Didonnas name has not popped up more often in here though due to his high composure and ability to never falter under pressure, believe he didn't give away a single penalty or get sin binned last year which is insane to think about how disciplined this kid is, with the physicality and strategy to dominate in the GPS competition.

Does anyone know if State High are pretenders or contenders this year? With their Court king by day, scrum gremlin by weekend gone are State High back to the bottom?
