most likely i believe that they were a one shot wonder, probably wont see to much out of state high for a while

I think you might be right and looking over this forum i really think that that 3-9 will be a dogs fight to decide who places where, with teams being said to be top 3 but then other say they are prentenders. Looking to be a competitive year

The 2025 GPS Tipping Comp

I'm sure many of you who have been around the forum for quite some time would be familiar with the AAGPS tipping competition. Likewise if you would like to be a part of a QLD GPS tipping comp, reply to this message saying "Count me in JACKO". Each round place your tips and I'll collect them. Let me know if you're interested!

Hey JC,

Look mate, I see where you’re coming from. Losing the likes of Roman Siulepa, Angus Tagicakibau, and Seamus Boakes will be a big hit to the team. However I believe it would be foolish to assume we won’t be seeing anything from them for a while. You know what the say… “A storm from Statey’s never far — they’ll rise again, that’s who they are.”

Yea look mate, im not saying you're wrong, but there team last year were so strong and after losing such an X factor like roman, its hard to see them does as good. But like you said, a stateys storm is never far, so I believe they will do well soon, just not this year.

They haven't lost Angus Tagicakibau.

Didonnas gut

Hard to look past the Nudgee boys here, led by the powerful Ben Didonna it is a masterclass of both brute force and strategic chop tackles. With Levi Slater is a highlight as well as he rampages through opposition packs and dominates them physically and mentally. It is a travesty that ben Didonnas name has not popped up more often in here though due to his high composure and ability to never falter under pressure, believe he didn't give away a single penalty or get sin binned last year which is insane to think about how disciplined this kid is, with the physicality and strategy to dominate in the GPS competition.
BBFB
Hey BBFB,

Couldn’t agree more with the comments on young Ben, I’m a massive fan of this bloke. Been keeping an eye on him since he was a young pup tearing it up at the Moree Boars. Plays with the aggression of a rampaging bull but somehow manages to stay cool as a cucumber. His discipline is next level, not a single penalty or sin bin last year? Sounds like him.

He’s the kind of player who doesn’t just hit hard, he is a leader. The GPS comp better watch out because this fella’s bringing the heat.

Cheers DG

Righto fellas enough's enough.

This forum’s starting to feel less like GPS rugby chat and more like the XXXX tent at the Ekka blokes half drunk, telling tall tales and forgetting why we’re even here.

Let’s park the pub chat for a bit and get back to what matters: the footy. The lads are busting their guts every weekend, and we’re here swapping stubby stories and debating profile pics?

Bit of banter’s good it’s what makes this place great but let’s steer it back to rucks, reps, and real rugby talk. Waterhose off. Footy on.

Cheers,
D.F

Just deleted a tonne of posts for basic drivel.
Do better. From here on, posting abusive / off-topic / offensive crap will result in a ban, no discussion, no appeal.
Well done Cyclopath so much nonsense here compared to AAGPS

Greetings everyone, I have a question on who you would consider to be the player of the GPS season this year. And who is a rising star that I should keep an eye out for?

Tim
Hey Tim, plenty of talent coming from Nudgee, BBC, and even BGS at the moment, with probably some of the top talents in key positions there, personally I've heard something about TGS flanker Keegan Cook, who my son played against last year in the 16As. he is smaller and probably not as naturally gifted as some other players, but he does have a very hard work ethic and has some serious tikka. I believe he is in grade 11, so he will develop plenty so i think he would be one to watch out for as a rising star.
