Knocking someone out just because your 6 ft 5 and 100kg isnt a claim, Playing good consistant footy, winning ball is what you'd want in a second rower, Personally i wouldnt find it in this Schwagger bloke, he just doesnt do it. But good on him for knocking 2 kings blokes out, and good on him for making Joeys 1st XV
I think his size and hard running would make him a defenite contender for selection

I see that a number of the under 16's qualified players are running in the park with the opens. This could either ruin their chances making under 16's GPS, because of the high level of intensity and fast pace of the 1st and 2nd XV. Therefore they would not be able to perform to the best of their ability, thus not standing out as much. On the other hand Under 16's representing opens could boost their chances of making under 16's GPS. Realistically these young men would dominate in the under 16's competition. My question is. How would the selectors of the under 16's GPS judge player's abilities when there are up against different age groups?

theyve been doing it a long time and i think they can realise if a kid has potential regardless of his opposition, at the end of the day thats why theyre the selectors

quote rooster123....macalman not going anywhere near the backrow??? from what i've seen he should be right up there with pennisi, along with jones davis and tulloch right up with the best of them. curtin over davis?? did you see his performance against shore and riverview he should definitely be a walk in like he did for nsw last year.
agree with tepai and kellaway

Curtin Davis is a tough one, while Davis has performed strongly, so has Curtin for Joeys 1s and 2s, however i think Curtin's injury keeps him out for the NSW team anyway

Can we stay away from NSW representation from last year, the NSW U15's is selected from club teams, there are loads of boys who have been at private schools playing A's that havent played club since primary, in my view it shouldnt matter whether the person was in the team last year or not, chances are there could be someone better who isnt playing club, eg. Pat Curtin

pat curtin has nothing on rory davis, his running game create great opportunities for the outside backs ie against shore, his pass may not be as good as you would like but his attack and defense makes up for it with his defence being as good as a third flanker

You must be a Joeys boy Connor95 as everyone knows Joeys dont allow boys in A teams to play club rugby.
Curtain wouldnt make it over Davis, keep dreaming.

i saw the 15's country play last year and rate him highly. the standard of 16a's halfbacks are poor, excluding davis and curtin. just because curtin is playing 1sts and 2nds in a poor joey's open year doesn't suddenly make him better then davis.

Curtins running game is just as good, and you cant give Shore as an example, they are probably the weakest team aside from Grammer

davis has been a standout for kings in the last three games, scoring a double against joey's and one against view. watch his game this weekend and get back to me on that. what about curtins mongrel and talk? would have nothing on davis
