No chance mate, Curtin is a good footy player, but to the likes of Davis i'd have him anyday

Not going to lye CTPE but shore aren't the most crash hot team to be going around, they did beat Cranbrook by 5-0... Kings aren't that crash hot, to see they have a imported combination of 9.10.12 seems that something was wrong in their team and they needed to buy in some players. The won't mould together well, and to see the likes of Newington, View and Scots up against them will be a great example to show this team who and what they really are.

Sandell missed rugby season at the college last season, and came in term 4, but before he started out at joeys he played most representative teams possible for his age even in primary, also my sources tell me that Jamo Clarke has nothing on the much talked about Deegan and that Deegan is a much better player. I can assure this isnt a biased opinion as this comes from a person who has seen both #10's play

Deegan is better..but not by much
clearly a Joeys boy writing this, but deegan is yet to impress this season,
having seen him play before, i know he can, just waiting to see it

okay we have talked about the flyhalf's enough i want to know possible backrow and who the gps contenders are, maybe mcalman from Kings or Schwagger from Joeys?

completely agree with baldingwingforward
Redden runs circles around the rest
however, i would like to see Jeffery Markus (st pats) at 10 and redden at 12
Feehan and Lussick are a way off the pace with Lussick really struggling when the pressures on

Tepai at 13 is a no-brainer
Jones isn't bad, however his terrible team attitude and indescribable arrogance will assure he makes no representative teams

mcalman will go nowhere near the backrow
Kamp and Crossley from scots have both had great starts
Penisi (joeys) Dempsey (view) and Meaney (New) are all leaps and bounds above the rest
will be interesting to see who makes it out of the above

Both shocking choices IB, Mate, from what has been seen, i think View lock, Tom Dempsey will get a run, strong runner of the ball not afraid to put the body on the line. Schwagger is overrated same with mcalman, I'd be looking at the Unknown's from Scots and New. Maybe something about the weekends game from the two may help? anyone know names and qualities of either Newington or Scots 16a's Second Rowers

Mate you make good points about footy, but leave it their we dont need to attack 15 year olds on their attitude

Great call Roosters, Kamp and Crossely?? Much on them, i hear Kamp is a weapon defender from boys at New after his vigourous defence on the weekend, and crossley is a newy, but again from the weekend apprently he came up with strong runs and defence was outstanding.
Penisi from joeys is a no brainer, being captain of NSW 15's last year leaves him in a good spot, and soild performances this year too.
Meaney and Dempsey i like, both apprent strong runners of the ball, seen dempsey play, is very strong and ruthless, haven't seen much of meaney however?

i think kellaway is a very strong chance for the team but the problem is what position he will play

i've read in another blog about him?? What are his strong points? and i think, 15 would be his prime as it was stated in another Blog that he is an allround Back

Roosters how do you figure he has a terrible attitude and 'indescribable arrogance'?

to answer your earlier questions tigersfan, Kings v Scots is this weekend and Kings v New isn't until the 2nd final round on August 13

Thanks QC (Quade Cooper).
Not to blow this up, but i have heard around GPS that this Jones boy is quite full of himself, not to say he is a bad rugby player, but his arrogance could harm his selection.

Word gets around, Apparently his team at Newport weren't terribly thrilled with him,
"cocky" and "arrogant" were some of the nicer terms used to describe him,

plenty of potential though

Schwagger is not over rated, the 2 Kings boys he knocked out cold in 1st XV will tell you that. Hes been one of Joeys best players in 1st XV

Knocking someone out just because your 6 ft 5 and 100kg isnt a claim, Playing good consistant footy, winning ball is what you'd want in a second rower, Personally i wouldnt find it in this Schwagger bloke, he just doesnt do it. But good on him for knocking 2 kings blokes out, and good on him for making Joeys 1st XV

If hes 6ft 5 and 100kg knocking blokes out in 1st XV imagine what hed do at under 16 level.
