I think you'll find that the Joeys u15s losses to Riverview in the A's and B's weren't relate to the cattle. It was mainly due to the outdated pod structure that left the rucks open to a pilfer-fest for the Riverview boys. After persisting with the tactic through the 14s and 15s you would hope the coaches can evolve so the boys can stop playing with "an arm tied behind their back" and give them a fighting chance.Hi boys, seems like the hot topic of this year's forum so far is the fresh Yr 10 crop coming through, but all I seem to hear about is the St Joeseph boys. If I am wrong please correct me but, they did not win the age group premiership (not discounting the likes of the Joseph boys as obviously there is some raw talent there). I respect the individual talent there by the boys in Cerise (pink) but I am left perplexed as to why boys from other schools in yr 10 are not given more looks. If I am right the Riverview boys won that yr and would have to have some talent worth giving a chat on the forum or even the likes of Kings and Newington who have respectable sides in the U16s and Gen Blue pathway talent, who I am sure is in the loop of the opens programs of their respected schools.
So if anyone has any info on any other Yr 10s from other schools like Riverview, Newington, Kings or even Shore it would be appreciated to share that knowledge...
The question will be if Bassingthwaite is recovered enough for round 4 will he risk playing schoolboy rugby given he has a contract into the future with the Roosters? Not sure what influence the Roosters would have on that decision as well. Either way, I hope that he gets to play but would expect that if round 4 was his return to play, he will be a little tentative at firstBassingthwaite (E) is out with a shoulder injury. The Shore school shaking for his surgical results. Coming off a premiership the school magnifies its eager nature into the rugby program. We live in a cruel world. Likely he will return around round 4. We pray for his steady recovery. And a few left hand schooners for his rehab.

mmm who's 'we'??? I sense a joeys scholar amongst this account. That’s a fair point, but let’s not forget that the Riverview U14B’s (and even a bit in the U15B’s) were filling their scrums with flankers and then going uncontested. That gave them an unfair advantage, especially considering we were fully prepared to contest. At this level no team should be going uncontested unless absolutely necessary, it just takes away a key part of the game. It also means they are ready to attack the rucks with there forward pack of little "jack russels".
Any information on the new boy mentioned in the front row - Hamilton?Baxter at (2) is very likely. IMO the front row could be very different however, only time will really tell. Reardon also in the back row. I don't know enough to comment more on this. As soon as trial games get underway I'll give it another crack...
Don't know enough, I'm sure he will edge his way into the 1s at some point. Definitely looking forward to seeing him play...Any information on the new boy mentioned in the front row - Hamilton?
From what I understand is still not doing contactIs Wendt back and confirmed as fully fit? Or is there still risk of injury and will he be placed carefully in the squad with minimal game time?
Hamilton was an integral part of both Shores 3XV and 2XV last year before injury cut his season short. Reports are saying he has beefed up with and is in great shape to dominate the AAGPS. He is a running threat out wide and has an unorthodox offload game. If he can replicate his brothers performances in SHORES 1XV Premiership last year he will be a force to be reckoned withAny information on the new boy mentioned in the front row - Hamilton?

Excited to see how Baretto performs under the Cerise and Blue. Very promising and dominant player as seen in his matches for the u15 Waratahs. Good luck to the kid and i'm looking forward to see how Joeys will use him!I believe Baretto plays tight #3 but can play both.

If Noah Chara can stay fit he will be a real threat to the rest of the GPS. He's been battling injuries over the last season from both Rugby and Basketball. If he stays fit he seriously has a chance at playing in the 1sts or 2nds at Joeys.I, PeepingTom have returned from a long break—let’s scrum down and get this rugby chatter rolling

I thought I could smell the unpleasant aroma of pesky Joey's boys, nonetheless, this is a mindless comment to the eyes of someone who actually watched some U16 Riverview games.
That is once again another mindless comment from this poser, this is the second coming of the VD as my first Acc got taken away many moons ago. Trust me mate, I've been lurking on this forum for so long that I am practically furniture of this sacred space. I've forgotten what it's been like to be a 'new user'.[/HEADING][/HEADING]
