I think with the Scots boys back from Glengarry they will be a powerful force and dominate the 16s age group. It will also be interesting to see what u16s players play in the open age group. I think the likes of Finn Hanigan, Will Brown, and Eduardo Gracias from Joeys will!

Thanks TPPG

What did the Sco’s boys come in the draw in under 15s before glengarry?
I heard Eduardo is a great player and I was watching the last game against Riverview and I couldn’t help but notice even when down he’s still playing with his golden hair he seems to care so much about puffing it up any chance he wasn’t in action. Is there any reason for that? Still played well

Observer out.

If I am right Heamasi Makasini has quite a few league commitments with the west tigers. Would these commitments clash with his service in GPS with Newington like the late Sua'ali'i?

thoughts and/or anyone else who is tied up with League this year?

Have been informed that Viliamu has injured his ankle. Looks like a long road to recovery with plans to be back post-first round of fixtures.

Unless he is playing Jersey Flegg (u21's) or NSW Cup for Wests, he should be able to play all GPS games for Newington.

Good morrow gentlemen of this fourm, i would like to introduce myself by giving you lot a riddle to figure out.....ironic isnt it !

In a game where skill and style collide,
With golden locks that flow with pride.
Though down on the score, he stands tall,
Puffing his hair, he gives it his all.

What am I, who plays with flair,
With a heart so big and a golden hair?
In the under 15s, I aim to impress,
Didnt play CIS can you guess?

Interesting 15 you got there. What about Henry Baxter (year 10). Hes coming in at a wopping 94kg and is looking scary in that Hooker position. IN MY OPINION, much better option than Garner.

I doubt that the Tigers make an 18 year old that's still in school play first grade. Just because he had a pre-season with the top squad, does not mean he's made it.
Have heard from various sources that it is looking like Makasini will be missing this season due to the tigers being overly impressed with him training in the top 30 over the off season. If this is true will be a massive loss for Newington.

EARLY SEASON PREDICTION:
I feel as if Shore and Scots have already picked up some bad luck in their summer sports and I believe it will carry throughout the whole season. A couple of arrogant acts (send-offs) which were reported to the GPS staff could actually see the boys miss some of their training such as Tom Fuzes. Furthermore, I do think a couple of boys from underdog schools will have their revenge this year such as Buddy Latham (N), and also Angus Teseiro (R) as they rip into their co-curriculars (Debating and Chess club).

Glazer out.
Buddy Lanthams off season program is admirable...

Is Wendt back and confirmed as fully fit? Or is there still risk of injury and will he be placed carefully in the squad with minimal game time?
