I might even use the FRIKKEN' LASER!
That doesn't sound painful enough
Agreed. That does look more painful.

A lack of breakdown defence, Aggression at the breakdown, Accuracy at the breakdown all a problem. Everyone else needs to step up drastically.
OK - Ive gotten over the loss now and accept it was entirely the refs fault.
But brings me to another bugbear and that is the ARU's refusal to use overseas players.
We need the best players on the field if aussies are ever going to compete with the best..
We certainly don't have enough depth in this country with out - just consider Douglas in 2nd row, Mowen no 8 (maybe), Ioane on one wing, every drew Mitchell on the other.??
You could even consider Giteau & Bieber.
the point is its unfortunately going to keep on being groundhog day till the best players we got can all be used.
Seriously Horne and McCabe at wing??
I rate Link immensely but idiot policies @ ARU are hamstringing the bloke.
How about potgeitor - if the kiwis can poach so many islanders surely a saffa for us is fair game..
the honey badger?
Well, that ship sailed, and has docked elsewhere. If it sails again, maybe Dan Palmer can catch it back?Maybe Link needs another assistant?
RE Badger - I've made my point there alone.
RE poaching - just saw a post about some giant Georgian Front and Back rowers. surely they'd like aussie residency.??
Douglas? Well he's leaving because he was down the pecking order. If we get an injury or two I guess he'd be handy.
Iain Payten has a good take on the difference in mentality between the two teams.
The Wallabies drew with the All Blacks in Sydney, and found achievement in it. The All Blacks only found anger.
They didn’t, and despite the fact a draw was as good as a loss as far the Bledisloe Cup series, the result was seen in vastly different ways.
The Wallabies appeared to take some confidence from that was almost a win, and the All Blacks were fuming it wasn’t a win.Their draw was a loss and therein lies the difference between two proud rugby nations.
Has Douglas performed with any consistency though. He's shown great potential since his debut littered with ineffectiveness. It would not be a surprise for him to fail to translate that good form at the end of the year to test form, as he has struggled to do that previously.
