Yeah the stat I saw said 37% of their scrums ended in a penalty win, the highest of the league. Apologies if that's not quite the most dominant.Maybe they won the most penalties at scrum time or something like that?

Couldn't get on the park unfortunately. When we signed him I thought he would be Tamati Ellison 2.0.Matt Proctor was a disappointing signing hey, I predicted him to be our best this year.
The few times he played more than a few minutes he looked good but injuries stopped him in his tracks.Couldn't get on the park unfortunately. When we signed him I thought he would be Tamati Ellison 2.0.
Their 2nd half points differential was much much better than their first. If anything they were one of the fitter teams. But go off some more. The Rebels had many problems apart from financial but their woeful defence and never being fit enough were enough to destroy any professional team. Defence at times looked almost optional with many players never hitting and sticking but just making an attempt and falling off.
I think the D issue is a major one in Australian rugby but the Rebels turned it into an art of high farce. Kevin Foote is responsible at the end of the day regardless of how pathetic Brad Harris was, he's a South African and should have seen and fixed the tackling issues.
Just read Harris was Fiji's attack coach great call to put him into defence.
DC according to what I read they had a 35 point average deficit per game over the 2024 season. That should close the book on their D issues.Their 2nd half points differential was much much better than their first. If anything they were one of the fitter teams. But go off some more.
I am sure we all have great respect for Rod McQ, but he knows as well as anyone the only thing that counts is wins and tins to put a shine on the bank account. The Rebels were not founded as a feeder, builder or gender equality team. The expectation is that they would emulate and eclipse what Rod did with the Brumbies.
Rod Macqueen has spoken out
The Rebels faced significant challenges from their inception. Australian Rugby restricted them from signing players under contract until negotiations with the existing franchises were completed, forcing the Rebels to look overseas for competitive talent, a costly endeavour.
Despite these hurdles, Victorian rugby – through the Rebels – has made substantial progress since that first season in 2011. Consider:
• 17 Wallabies have been developed in Melbourne
•18 Wallabies have joined the Rebels
• Four homegrown Wallabies
• 12 Rebels have played at the international level
• 25 Australian Under-20 representatives
• Rebels women’s rugby team
• Supported Victorian wheelchair rugby, which produced one-third of the Aussie Steelers and also Australia’s first female wheelchair international.
The Rebels also led the way by being the first rugby union franchise to remunerate women for their sport, reflecting their commitment to gender equity.
If all MacQueen has to offer as a witness is a history lesson pertaining to the Rebels' dispensation to include (up to) 10 international players 13 years ago, then I'm not sure RA's lawyers are going to be too worried.

If you think MacQueen is going to release anything to the media that would effect the case/trial your not so bright yourself. If all MacQueen has to offer as a witness is a history lesson pertaining to the Rebels' dispensation to include (up to) 10 international players 13 years ago, then I'm not sure RA's lawyers are going to be too worried.
Lol, of course not - but it's pretty evident that this whole thing is just going to be a shit slinging contest with questionable relevance to the (mis)management of the Rebels in recent years, which is ultimately all that matters. If you think MacQueen is going to release anything to the media that would effect the case/trial your not so bright yourself.
The Wallabies belong to all of us. Not RA. They are Australia's teamFor those who made it to Bell’s, well done.
Unforgettable afternoon
Well done the boys - raw emotion everywhere, I think RA have lost a more fans than just Rebels supporters.
Not going to the Wales test on principle -
But for those who do, wear a Rebels jersey please
I'm not a Wallaby fan, I'd support them as my second team because they would have Rebels in the team. Now no Rebels, so I cannot support a team that does not support the city/state I have always called home. The Wallabies belong to all of us. Not RA. They are Australia's team
