No emails from Ticketek yet but judging by the eye-watering charge that appeared on my credit card a couple of days ago, I was successful in the Lions Tour ballot for the Sydney test.

Anyone else apply and did you get tickets?

Pfitzy

Nathan Sharpe (72)
Decided to do the Tahs game instead so no ballot for Pfitzy. Plus I spend enoug time in online queue bullshit - I've got a teenage daughter who is costing me the GDP of a small pacific nation in concert tickets this summer and next.

Still jealous tho. I went to the 2013 edition which was pretty awesome. My brother - an AFL supporter - said afterwards "This must be what soccer at Wembley is like" after all the singing and chanting etc. He was impressed.

There was no online queue for this. You could enter the ballot based on Super Rugby membership. You selected the tickets you want (up to 2 per membership) and then if successful your credit card gets charged over the three days of the ballot.

Where's the thrill of the chase? ;)

Yeah, my level of support wasn't enough to go in the ballot - just do a three game flexi, so I'm just going to have to join hoi polloi and try to get a ticket, however exorbitant for a nose bleed section seat

Tickets to Melbourne via my new MCC Membership. Whole family is going.

What a trip. Is he Aus based?
Yeah he is. Will be great. Originally I was just going to join in for the Melbourne games and the Sydney Tests like I did with him in 2013, as his brothers had planned to come out and do the whole shebang, but they've pulled out for personal reasons, so I benefit.

Everyone it seems won bloody ballot tickets except me. Ergh.
Actually can I put it out there please: if any forumers has, or knows of someone with, either:

2 or 3 spare tickets to the Brisbane test
or
2 spare tickets to the Sydney test

Can you kindly shoot me a message? I’d love to snap them up if possible! Having rotten luck buying some direct so far.

Scratch this. The old man didn’t read his emails correctly - we have tickets for the Brisbane test. Yahoo!

edit: would still probably take two tickets for Sydney though if they happen to pop up.
