Surprised it doesn't happen more sadly.

Highest paid player in the game who has a pretty bad injury rate. He's certainly putting the pressure on the Knights to do some recruiting.

I don't see a ban coming but I definitely think he could jump to Rugby in a couple of years for some un godly amount of cash.

Andrew Walker could have played any sport he wanted to and been a pro in Australia. Absolutely magic to watch

Intresting that Nathan Hindmarsh almost signed with the Tahs at one point. 6'2 107kg in his league career where he was known for his motor. Interesting thought to how he could have gone at 6 if he could probably sit at 110kg. I really don't know when it's forwards. Burgess was handled like shit and thrown under the bus when I think he would have been a very effective 6 given time.
We wouldn’t have won anything with Hindy

Moses Leo - NZ 7s has signed a two year deal with the Storm.

"Leo made his All Blacks Sevens debut in Singapore in 2022 and has now played 82 matches.

He represented NZ at the recent Paris Olympics and was a member of the bronze medal-winning All Black Sevens team at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Leo will fulfil his contract with the NZRU in 2025 before relocating to Melbourne.

His Storm contract covers the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
"

I expect these types of guys to slot in an be effective at the Storm after acclimatising like Warbrick took half a season to find his feet.

Gallen is 5'11 though. If we only played Rugby here he's more suited to being a Hooker than anything else with his bulk.

We have a lot limp types filling jobs in second row positions around the world. I reckon they'd go fine when a guy like Hindmarsh is the same size as Kolisi... It's all a thought game and fun what ifs.

In terms of backs its the Morris brother types I'd want. Big, fast, skilled and disciplined.
Yep - would have been like owning a pair of Adam Ashley-Coopers.

That’s just a flex that you shut them down every time they got the ball.

Lol. Pretty much. The trick was to limit the amount of ball they had. Which meant we'd play to our strengths which was our pack. Suited me as a Prop. That and they played wing and fullback so we'd move out 15 being our best backline defender up to wing and he'd usually win that contest.

Is Jonah Pezet one we should have been looking to bring back?

Interesting that the Storm are extending him for 3 years even with his injury history and lack of game time. They usually know the blokes they want to retain so it tells me he’s still got a bit to show.

Didn’t really fire in rugby though.

He’s looked good in his stints in the NRL and absolutely was best player on the field in the u20s origin a year back which I think got a lot of teams interested.

Munster is signed but body seems to be letting him down a bit and the Storm may let a team overpay for Hughes down the track if it meant clearing cap and having a good enough back up.

He looks a league player to me. I think Adam Douhi would have been a better get for Rugby with his size and ability to kick.
