Hell West & Crooked

What is in this really?... It cannot have been too violent an altercation, No action from the Airline, (not even a Statement, in fact)... There is an unpleasant altercation/Inappropriate comment; the Business Manager asks for action to be taken - or an apology - and in the absence of either, she decides it is unacceptable to remain, and announces she will leave... The Coach thinks either, it is a minor incident in context, or he is in an impossible position between a player and a staff member - so he throws it to the panel...
Odd that he elected to escort her to the Airport, but it suggests both that he may see her as the aggrieved party, and potentially at least, that he had one last attempt at changing her mind.
He does this knowing it clashes with a pre-Test Training Run, so it is a very deliberate decision. Certainly it would have been calculated to demonstrate solidarity with the Staff Member - and to send that message back to the team running around the training park.
No word from the Reporters, which means maybe they missed it (as it was too brief), or did not even hear it taking place...
We are all judged by our actions - and his actions, both in and out of the courts suggest some fundamental issues are at play in terms of how he interacts with other people.
For me, I'd cut Beale loose for simply starting the 'Mungoe' Conversation as soon as his position in the XV was threatened... You want to go? Go - Don't talk about it.
Its about time the Wallabies meaningfully re-instated an ethic of behaviour which respects the Jersey. Long overdue in fact.
