While i don't agree with everything tip has said, let's call a spade a spade. It's a waratahs player at the centre of this, it's a waratahs captain who has come out and undermined the coach and the ARU at precisely the wrong time, it's waratahs players who have been fervently leaking to newspapers, creating the shitstorm that this has become, and its more waratahs players who are threatening to walk if Kurtley gets the sack. Before I heard about this, i would have thought that anyone publicly defending actions like this would be shown the door. I am in a state of constant bewilderment.

Everyone needs to remember that the ARU don't really need to sack or even suspend KB (Kurtley Beale). He is off contract in a matter of weeks and thus ceases to be an ARU employee as a matter of course.

Yeah I noted that in a prior post and agree with you. I more so meant physical preparation which was nothing short of professional after link came in (deans first selected him around the same time so there's a good chance he was a positive influence also).

Personally I think the way out of this mess is for the wallabies to refocus on excellence across the board rather than showing solidarity about how fucking crapulent we are in all facets of being wallabies, but that is a pervasive problem that seems to cross super boundaries when it comes to our 'heroes'.

You see many young people still haven't grasped the reality that the internet is public - things posted are accessible by everyone.

Yes I believe we did deal with the whole State alignment issue about 50 pages ago and the general conclusion was that this is not a state v state issue.

No, it isn't, as I even posted myself.
But the notions put forward a page or so back blaming the Tahs players as a whole group for instigating this by bitching about Patston previously, or suggesting dumping them all would not be a problem (because our depth is so good) are plain idiotic, and seem to me to be aimed squarely at inciting a shitfest.

Isn't unsubstantiated rumour and hearsay the reason this situation had spiralled out of control? It's got to the point that posters are jumping on anything printed to justify the 'side' they have taken. Problem there is so much crap out there there is an argument for and against every incident. I have no idea where the truth lies. I wasn't on the plane and I didn't receive the texts messages.

Pushing a 'hunch' that the Tahs players are the ones leaking everything to the press is just that, a hunch. Could it it be them? Yes, it sounds plausible, but only the journalists know for certain who is doing it.

Everyone stop perpetuating the crap, we're worse than Growden. Don't become a pawn in the he said she said PR war that is underway. If you know something for CERTAIN name your source or pipe down and let this sordid situation come to a conclusion. Wait until the ARU tribunal is held by an independent district judge.

Based on past experiences whatever comes out of the tribunal is bound to divide the already divided masses, but I hope that's the end of it. There is more to the Wallabies than texting and arguments and there is more to Australian rugby than the Wallabies.
