I am extremely disappointed, despondent would be a better word actually. The game was largely lost in the opening 20 minutes giving away soft points. We looked clueless in attack (resulting in one of your tries) with out starting half backs. Lancaster blamed it on a lack of experience but that doesn't wash when our 9 is getting his 50th cap and the 10 must be getting close to 30 caps.
Don't worry pal, when you do beat us it will be very sweet and you will.

The Springboks were slightly better at taking their chances today and that's what seperated the teams. You scored not only because Matfield was off but the Springboks were entering inevitable "comfort" territory at that stage and the two coincided.

Neither team should be too happy about this game.

I have to agree, the first half was very poor. Though the second half was more exciting at least, if not a great standard of rugby still.

err, could you please give us a report on some tennis, or similar, that i can understand?

They were inches out, between the posts, and threw a cut out pass to a winger standing still instead of giving the piggies a few chances to just drive it over. Multiple times in a row.

isn't a 110 kg bloke a bit small for a Bokke forward?

Any of you saffers got an idea why Rory Kockott has been ignored and allowed to play for France? You said you need a more tactically astute 9. Better than Hougaard there I reckon.

Geez really enjoyed this test, bloody good hard rugby at times out there.
I have a question, has anyone in world rugby got a more punchable face than Owen Farrell? And isn't Hartley an annoying bugger?
Also how is Englands job of making Twickenham a fortress looking, not too good it seems.
All in all like I said, think it was a good test, and think Saffas were worthy winners!!

No one in England likes them either. Farrell because he is crap.

At least Hartley is a good player, just a bit of a twat. His international career should have ended when he got banned for eye gouging. That's just personal morals though, I wouldn't have Clark in the England squad either because he got a ban for intentionally breaking someones arm in a game.

Because like anyone, Meyer has his moments of lunacy.

We could do with Kockot right now. Our fit 9's are a load of crap.

But it's too late because Meyer has some sort of issue with Kockott.

Although I can't help but think that a few old Springbok forwards would have choked on their biltong when Hartley was yellow carded for a little footwork.:)

Jaap Bekker would be spinning in his grave.

Have you really only just noticed? England have such a long heritage of dickheads

I agree Quick about Hartley's footwork, I think what got him card was he actually pushed the leg down before standing on it!
And Cardiff I know they have tended to have annoying pricks over the years, but I not Welsh so they haven't annoyed me quite as much as you, up till now!

Certainly a penalty in the modern game, but wouldn't have rated a mention 30 years ago. I have no problem with the penalty, but I think the yellow card was overboard though.

Fair enough. Shame its a bit late now, turns out he is French!
