Beware the wounded Bokke.

I cannot seem them losing two on the trot.

Would have liked to see Goosen on the bench for le Roux. We may need a bit of a boot and while le Roux has improved in this area he is not known to get distance.

Compare this to 2007 where we had FdP who was a kicking 9. Butch who could kick and run at 10. F. Steyn who could kick at 12 and Percy Montgomery a master left-footer at 15.

We're limited to Lambie and the bits and pieces from le Roux of late.

Our kicking game is pretty limited too tbh. Farrell is surprising inconsistent in this aspect, Brown has a big boot but prefers to run and Eastmond is hardly an accomplished kicker either.

Your 2007 team was very well built for the type of territory dominated rugby that was prominent on the international scene at the time as I remember it.

Really can't call this. All of this about the wounded Bokke, it's not as if SA had line outs or set pieces or kicking games to amend it was simply getting tactics wrong. England are foaming at the lips for a SH scalp and are brimming with physicality and potential.

Either team could conceivably win by 10+

Well that was a pretty poor half of rugby. From both teams, but Farrell is just terrible. If Ford isn't given a far crack today then Farrell snr has too much say on Lancaster IMO.

First half was like watching a sloppy bar brawl between two big blokes (one slightly bigger than the other) and neither are winning because they keep punching their own faces

Cue PN to unleash a tirade on how fascinating it is to see two tough, uncompromising forward-orientated teams bash each other in set-pieces and mauls for the lion's share of the first half.

And how you can not possibly appreciate the beauty of 10 man rugby because you're an American
