in 6 years time I would think that even JOC (James O'Connor) would be past the nippy and aerobically fit requirements or the games. I would doubt any current Wallaby will be in that squad in 2016.
The oldest players I would think would be the current crop of schoolboys and as Lee said the majority will be in the 15-16 age bracket currently.
Been telling my son who's 16 about the virtues of rugby sevens and the Olympics, he's on a scholarship with the Melbourne Storm at the moment, but he calls union 'gay'... (All these years of taking him to Bled Cup and RWC games have not paid off sadly...)
It would not be far fetched to think by the year 2014 that the league will join forces with the union to play in sevens tournaments, their players will demand it...
wonder if the speed machine John Grant will get picked up? Also it would be a handy 'trial' for Rodney Davies for the Wallaby tour.
We have injury problems. Nick Cummins injured his AC joint in the SS final and it doesn't look positive for him. Also Pat McCabe is in serious doubt with a knee injury http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2010/09/22/3019187.htm?site=sport§ion=rugbyunion . The boys fly out this morning to Darwin for camp and Oceania Tournament.
I'm hearing McCabe passed a fitness test today.

Doubt also hangs over Commonwealth Games Sevens representative and Randwick outside-centre Nick Cummins, who injured his shoulder shortly before Chisholm went down late in the first half.
Cummins will miss the Sevens team's departure to Darwin today for a pre-Games tournament and his chances of joining the team in Delhi hinge on more scans this week.
Must have heard wrong. He's officially out along with Safanaia.
Nick Cummins is still in.
