I've been wondering if Jake White has applied a little bit of gamesmanship in regards to Fotu Auelua in the 22 this weekend. McKenzie has definitely been playing some coach mind games in the media... Fotu would be a big loss to the Brumbies...

Paul Cully makes a very interesting point...

I have an issue with Saia's tackling style for an injury point of view. I cringe every time he goes in and hold my breath until he gets up. I think also this is part of the reason he gets pinged for not rolling away or being on the worng side of the ruck so often.

McKenzie has really gone to town on the Brumbies short falls in this article but its all the points that the Reds have let in is the real issue... and point of difference between the two teams... Brumbies by +7

hmm not sure we are reading the same article.. he seems to be complementing that Brumbies style of play as been effective..

if anything could be contrived as negative, it was the fact that he highlighted the Brumbies don't have to play the Stormers or Crusaders.

I didn't actually see the Brumbies game last week but after watching the Rugby Club last night, it showed images of Hooper being knocked out? Isn't that a minimum one week on the sidelines? Not trying to say he shouldn't be playing (i'm actually really looking forward to the 'battle of the fetchers' that everyone keeps going on about) but i'm just confused as isn't that why Fotu has to sit this one out? And even at club level, two guys from my club are being made to sit out this weekend due to headknocks in a similar fashion.

I think the ruling is that they weren't "knocked out" as they werent unconscious for a period of time. They were just very very dazed.

I think this will be the match when Leroy Houston really breaks out of his shell..
