Anyone know why that Murray guy didn't get signed? He was mentioned in a lot of articles earlier in the year and now whitey has opted to sign a young staffer over him. Just seems weird that he wants to bring in an eps lock but would rather go to SA to get it.

I don't think a Saffa can be in the EPS.

either way what happened to murday?

Nothing's happened to him, played in the GF last week. No rush to fill the EPS, a squad will come together for preseason and will press their claims during then the same as last year. If Jake can bring back some gold from SA that's just a plus.

White signed Ettiene Oosthuizen for two years.

They have so much tall timbre over there, there wont be anyone to hear the sound of us deroodting him and bringing him to our shores. We should stick him in Tasmania for a little while, so have lost some seriously tall timbre recently.

Jake Whites got a good eye for talent, Ettiene Oosthuizen will do well at the Brumbies... interestingly his old club the Lions refer to him as a UTILITY FORWARD which makes sense at 198cm... other articles call him a LOCK...

Great to have him on board at the Brumbies.... welcome E.T

David Pocock had his first appearance for the media as a Brumbies player today.

He spoke about his knee injury, which he says there is no time frame on his return but said he would be right for 2013 but the Spring tour is a possibility.

The captaincy was mentioned but he said he had no problem with Ben Mowen staying in the job.

In other news, Brumbies 'team rehab' is progressing well with 1 week of training left in this block before the break. Some players will continue their rehab depending on the injury before going on their break.
