Don't worry too much two wheeled one, I will resurect it at the appropriate moment you can be sure. I was sent to bring balance to you believers after all.

Do you have some sort of thread alert when that name is mentioned? Prodigiously rapid response, O Knower of Things!

I would have no problem with AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Chambers or Horne at 13 or if he shows he is back, the evil wizard Mr Mortlock

If you add Inman to that list our depth at 13 isn't all that bad, yeah ok only really AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) & Mortlock are proven at test level but the other 3 have shown enough at super 14 to give us some hope.

Horne didn't really do enough with his chance this season and I think he needs to add another 5kg to his frame if he is to be serious threat at test level.

Disco hornes problem isn't that he is too wiry its that he was hardly given the ball in those matches and when he did get the ball he made a couple of breaks which isn't bad. Players at 13 need time to settle because the defensive channels are difficult to read and when your 12 drifts across the whole time it tends to eat up your space.

He played excellently in the super 14 and hopefully he repeats that this year when he recovers. Im not convinced with AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 13 yet and if horne can replicate his S14 form in internationals he should start.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpW76Wym1mQ, he only got the ball once but made a telling break

Our depth at 7 is the only thing that concerns me with the Wallabies, behind Pocock is a years worth of daylight

Forgot about AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) on the wing. For me he's got to cement his spot at 13 or move to the bench.

You don't rate Davies, Scotty?

Hodgo was brilliant in the S14 so i guess he would be the reserve 7, behind him would be waugh? or Deans might put Rocky there for some reason?(the sort of thing i could see him doing).

Diggers at 13 is a worthy thought and he did very well there for the Reds. The thing to ponder though is that Chambers is currently ahead of him in that position and in general I'd rather see a guy play in S15 the position for which he is being considered for the test team.

Is 13 Diggers preferred position? I remember him with the number 13 on his scrum cap the games he played there.

I'd love to see him get a shot. His speed is obviously much greater than any other top flight winger in this country, but his defense hasn't truly been tested, and has some way to go. I just don't rate him because he hasn't played for months, and more particularly he hasn't played for the Wallabies. Maybe after this tour he will be right up that list, but we shall see.

After seeing him perform for the 7s team at the CG, I'd rate Morahan more highly at the moment. He doesn't seem to have got a mention in this thread yet.

I think it probably is Stoff. The problem he's got now of course is how well Chambers adapted to 13 last season. I've actually been quite impressed by him. Just came in and got on with the job with little fanfare.

you know what I was disappointed about Morahan at the Com Games? He got held up too often resulting in a turnover and that's almost criminal in 7s. It really surprised me for someone so strong.

That had as much to do with the lack of support as anything else. Kiwis were good at getting numbers to the contest, we weren't.

I wouldn't play him anywhere but wing. He loves a tackle but is not a good reader of defences when I've seen him play there. If he proves me wrong playing 13 for the Reds on a fairly regular basis, different story. He wouldn't be the first to fool me.

I'm very comfortable with AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 13 - he just looks like he was born to play that position. Let the boy develop there and let Beale develop at fullback. Both are our two best backs and therefore should play in their best positions.
