using that as a guide and say QLD had 50 players capable of being professional, that in rough terms means a player somewhere between 140 & 150 players .

Seems a tad low but if they are the figures thats what they arre.

I'd say there are many more than 50 pro rugby players from Queensland playing right now

Really great to have that locked in long term, adds that bit more stability for the game and it's finances.

Also well and truly puts to bed McLennan's threats about loosing them if he was to be "speared".
