It's been up for awhile:

1 Pettowa Paraka
2 Hugh Roach
3 Les Makin
4 Jed Holloway
5 Curtis Browning
6 Sean McMahon
7 Liam Gill (C)
8 Thomas Cusack
9 Nicholas Frisby
10 Kyle Godwin
11 Allan Faalavaau
12 Apo Latunipulu
13 Chris Sautia
14 James Dargaville
15 Lewis Holland
16 Silatolu Latu
17 Oli Hoskins
18 Sam Jeffries
19 Benn Melrose
20 Matt Lucas
21 Con Foley
22 UJ Seuteni
23 Allan Ala'alatoa

Why hasn't Australia fielded the same 23 they fielded against Scotland ?

I'd like to see UJS starting over Godwin, I've not been impressed by him so far. Good to see Frisby getting a start though, well deserved.

Not a good start. Boys looking a little jaded.

Frogs playing like - well Frogs. Looks like they have turned up with their A game today.

Junior Wobs falling off tackles, scrum under pressure and not doing too good.

Score 14 - 0 to Les Frogge Petit. 21 minute gone.

After 27 minutes
Tackles made Aust 31/Fra 13
Tackles Missed Aust 8.

Possession France 70%

When we get the pill, we are getting tackled behind the A line in most cases.

No wonder we are behind 14-0 on the scoreboard.

Digit needs to be extracted from Australian backside to restore respectability to scoreboard.

#15 for Aus looks the best so far. Front row doing alright too.

edit: nice, Gill scores. Oz still in this, a penalty before half time will be nice.

Liam Gill Try after some sustained forward pressure. 33 minutes gone. Godwin adds the extras. 14 - 7 now

Tackles made Aust 31/Fra 41
Tackles Missed Aust 8/4 Fra.

Liam is a stand out player so far. Holloway is OK no one else really standing out so far. Browning a little quiet. Was expecting more from him.

Roach playing well in loose play but we've just lost our 2nd lineout. Gut feeling is that the problem may be more with the thrower than the jumper/lifters.

He will need to work on this aspect of his game if he is to realise his full potential.

Oranges. Les Frogge up by 7 (14 - 7).

Game is evening up. Passion seems to be there for the French. Australia deserve credit for fighting back but the precision from the Scottish game is not there. The Oz piggies are not getting the dominance that had in the earlier game to give the backs the time and space they need to look good. Great aggressive defence from the French to frustrate the Australian Attack.

Oz go forward is mainly coming from the piggies, but the Blues are making it very difficult to make those yards. Every inch is being fought over.

Looks like UJ Seuteni is on for someone at 1/2 time. Could be Holland which would be a bit of a shame 'cause LH was playing OK.

We're doing OK again. 25-3 vs Samoa at halftime with a bonus point
Big turnaround from the hiding dished out by the Little Darknesses from last year. I think the little Boyo's caught the Darkness by surprise this year, with them thinking all they had to do was just turn up and they would win by a similar score.

In doing so, those buggers in black have made it almost impossible for our chosen ones to advance to the Semis.

Melrose on for Cusack. Think he is off due to a knock from late in 1st half.

French lineout as disorganised as our own. We are stealing good possession from them.

think we've qualified. It's an omen. Oh No. I said that before Saturday's game! My curve is on the up again. Will have to rerun the recording of saturday's first half to calm down

And for their trouble, it looks like Wales will get a very angry, well prepared NZ in the semis.

Poor decision by Gill to go for touch instead of an easy penalty kick in front of post...France scores a length of field of try after a pilfer...

Wow! Why did Australia not take the 3??? Turn it over and the French score a superb length of the field counter attacking try. Typical France, and at the moment, typical poor Australian leadership.

Hugh Jarse

Rocky Elsom (76)
Poor choice there Mr Gill.

left a gift 3 points on the field by opting against a simple PK at goal and taking a kick to the corner for a possible 7. Turnover at maul following lineout and length of the field try with some poor tackling by the men in gold. Score is 21 - 7 to Les Frogge with 60 minutes gone.

This is a very poor tournament from a well regarded, even favored Aus outfit.

England haven't looked that hot either having a hard time subduing an Irish team before Irish legs just gave way.

The Little Darkness will have received one hell of a wake up call and be very difficult now. Penney is no mug; he'll make significant adjustments.
