I'm expecting a barrage of pissed idiot responses.

Xmas cheers Blue Scarfers! Go the Reds in 2010, with Lismore being the the perfect preview.

Reports please. Preferably while still caned.

From the phonecalls, things sounded pretty well oiled by 9.

All Scarfie could say was "I need a piss"

Well, where to start?
Blue is taller than I knew, NTA is a beast of a man (had 2 main courses, as any self-respecting prop would do), Eddo is a good bloke given he is half a septic-tank (hee-hee), Lindo needs a shave, Moses is too young despite the beard, The Riddler is an enigma wrapped in a mystery, Scarfy has a wicked off-load, Ash did OK for a Qlder and I am apparently a "homo" for playing soccer in the first place and breaking a toe.
A good night had by all, and I have no idea how the random chick got into my taxi to get home, but I thought I'd take one for the team.
Sorry (not really) about the wake-up call, Gagger, but we were excited and felt the need to let you know!!
Thanks for the text, Biffo.
Poor show, Naza and WJ.

exit interview? does that mean you're joining noddy in the bread line?

nice summary cyclo. sounds like a hell of a time. how'd it go with the chick given your stuffed up toe?

Saved: THE LORD NELSON DOESN'T SERVE BEER IN JUGS. What a great pub! ::) ::) ::)

A great night was had by all. Sorry about waking you up in Philly, Gagger. Thanks for the sentiments from your hospital bed in Bangkok, Biffo. Your back getting better? Could you understand me, Juan?

Report: NTA looks like he's in training for sumo wrestling, good to see a prop clean up two feeds. The Riddler's a Pom! Funnily enough, a decent bloke (and he did have a shower before he arrived). Cyclopath woosed on about his bloody broken toe, chiropractors, x-rays, tendons, etc, it's only a broken toe, son. Ash bore the burden of supporting the Reds manfully, and often! Blue eschewed his Bulls jumper for an original Bok outfit this year, which we sensibly camouflaged with a yellow scarf. Eddo, God bless him, rummaged around his wardrobe and found a 1950s Waratahs jumper. Bet they like that in Portland. Moses tried his best to spend all his severance pay on Trafalgar Pale Ale in one night. Does his laugh get louder or more frequent as the night progresses?

Next meeting of The Yellow Scarf Alcoholics Club scheduled for Brisbane in February.

As with most calls from a group of pissed idiots in pubs Lindom, I had no fucking idea what you were saying but it was great to get the call.

Looking forward to the next scheduled meeting....

Thanks everyone for coming - top night. Hoarse throat this morning. Suggests that I did some yelling over the top of people. Can't be true, surely?

As Lindo says - I'm going up, I'm pretty sure, to Brissy for the Tahs game. I'm keen to take a boat race team up there to show the Banjo Boys how it's done.

I think I like that description :)

Good to meet everyone and I can now rest easy, safe in the knowledge that passionate, constructive and sometimes even intelligent rugby debate is in some fairly good hands - perhaps with one or two exceptions ;)

I thought you were were suitably restrained, Scarfy.
I will probably make the trip north too - need to confirm the date read Noddy's post below more clearly, and check I can free some time. Safety in numbers, and all that!

Good to meet the boys.

Exemplary citizens one and all. :yay

Beer was damn good too.

That steak sandwich, while delectable, was on the small side and the chips were a bit skinny. The Lamb burger finished things off nicely. And jeez I hadn't eaten for about 8 hours by the time we got around to food. A man's not a camel.

It was good to see "D'Artagnan" Lindommer in fine form too.

The steak sandwich filled me up nicely.. I almost finished the chips too!

Managed to twist my ankle pretty badly on the way home, walked down the stairs at Artarmon station and was looking at the Thai shop when I missed the last step and CRACK! Ouch.
