Also,.. surely the power of the G&GR brand can get us a pub sponsor for a chrissi gig?

I believe we could still pursue this as a non-profit organisation...

Not that I expect everyone to delay.. but I fly into Syd on the 21st... Is it too late to throw the 22nd out as an option?

MMmm? Comments please. I'm OK for Tuesday 22 December.

I could do Tuesday 22nd, but Thurs 17th is better. What time are we looking to kick-off? That might be the deal-breaker for me - if it is just evening, then OK.
I'll go with the flow - if majority want Tues then I'm in.

I'm sure most of the guys would prefer something like a 6:30pm start? No?
Better have all the chrissi shopping done by then.

Somewhere near a public transport from the sounds of how last year went.

As long as the bus home isn't porcelain.
6.30 either day will work for me pretty well.

The Gold Coast branch is open for suggestions
Could be just 2 of us? Brisbane could be better

We've got you, me, straight shooter, noddy, chief and lance free so we must be able to get a quorum out of that lot.

Can I attend? I know I don't post that often.

It would be rude not to come!
I seriously think a good G&GR showing will do wonders..
Any press is good press right?

I'll have to be there in spirit, as I'll no doubt be getting pissed on up here in soggy pomlandia.

Enjoy.

Would've loved to have got my hands on Lindommers jugs......

Bit too much detail there mate... Although from what I hear it's nothing out of the ordinary in pommieland

I'll have to be there in spirit myself, might have to see if I can track down a case of crownies and arrange a bit of an afternoon session in a friendly beer garden near the office. Would go for something a bit more exciting, but the only grogshop that sells Coopers and other fine drops like XXXX is about a 500km round trip.

Change your flights.

Thursday 17st eh? Alright, let me engage in the web of tangled negotiations it would require for me to attend. Clearly I will not be able to drive home, so I have a train to catch...

Is a date, time and venue set yet

Yes - I've decided Thursday 17th at 6.30PM at Our Lord of Nelson. Anyone who doesn't agree doesn't get to meet me. So there.

So, the rest of us on Tues 22nd then? ;)
I'm keen to see if Nick really is carrying as much repressed anger as he seems!!

Lord Nelson at The Rocks booked for a 6:00pm Christmas get-together on Tuesday, 22 December. We can eat either at the bar or in the first floor brasserie.

Could those intending to attend please post their acceptances.

naza, you're off the piss for the preceding weekend. No excuses, son.

waratahjesus, spend the time after 15 December lying down in preparation.

Any interstate/international visitors? The LN's well worth a visit, very old pub, great bar, good food and they brew their own beer. If you find their brews a bit chewy Cooper's, both red and greeen, are on tap. Their stout, called Nelson's Blood, is one of God's gift to mankind.
