Yeah mate its a bit disappointing. Before the train comes of the rails, To answer your question @GPS Fanatics I would say Rookie of the year could certainly be D.Akuoula (BGS)having played only 4-5 rugby union games going into this year. Cheers, T.B

Hey T42, Mate all good to know and a great cause, however could we keep the forum topic on rugby please. What team does Jeremy (MrBeast) Boo play in? Cheers, T.B

Cheers T42, Last time I checked Jeremy (MrBeast) Boo may have claimed the highest score on the gymnastics rings at the GPS championship. Fantastic achievement given his rugby commitments. The upper body strength must really contribute when cleaning out rucks and palming off, etc. Being a...

Cheers BS Mate I think you may have made a mistake, according to my memory 'Jack Russel' played a 11A cricket game during the season. Could anyone explain this? Cheers, TB

Yeah TRC, A few strong players in the 8 position too, possibly Akuoula (BGS) having a great season so far as an HM TB

Of course QTT, I'm sure many of us here are interested in both. Know a few rugby players for certain aiming for both the Firsts in rugby and cricket, some from GT. Few prospects coming through that play both 9 in rugby and are great cricket prospects. Cheers, T.B

Cheers ATA Totally mate, playing ball with skill is one thing, but cold hard tikka is a trait not many players possess these days. This bloke as you said is one of these rare players giving it everything every week and showing up when his team needs him. T.B.

Mate 100% I can agree with those. Barry Smith constantly finds ball during lineouts and open play despite being a starting prop. Ngatai has also bein a weapon around the ruck, exploiting the shortside and picking numerous times. Also @Wayne Bennett 2ndMarriage Romer has been outstanding in...

Totally agree here QTT, Saw a courageous 70 minute effort from BGS against BBC with several young players stepping up to the plate. The energy in the program is building and I reckon a win could be on the horizon for them. And players to watch in the BSHS side? Cheers, TB

@Quick_Tap_Tony Gday T, You seem to know heaps about the GPS and the rugby culture developing. Did you ever play rugby yourself mate? Cheers, TB

Mate, I watched the U16A game and it seems Harry "Hazbot" Woodruff laid a monster hit on him and the backline really kept him under control, making 0 line breaks and only 1 or 2 offloads throughout the game. Really had him on locks for the entire 16A game with Toowoomba only narrowly winning...

Guan Syun, Its great to see new members like you contributing to the discussion. Have you personally seen any players from the 2nd XV knocking at the door recently? Seen some great performances over the past few weeks.
