Teddy Wilson was our best player at the JWC I felt. I am a big believer in him as a player. I think the second best 9 in the u19's is Doug Phillipson at the force (out of NSW too)... so really fumbled that massively there losing our 2 best in the age group.

Sharples especially. The u19's Waratahs is FAR behind the standard that you would expect at this level.

Speaking of brumbies hookers, check out the kid they got playing u16’s. I reckon he’s a great little footy player. Unfortunately undersized, but he has time to make up the size given his age, and it didn’t seem to hinder him at all in the game.

I assume this was referencing Oniti Finau given the time it was posted. He looks to have a bad ankle injury now. Will give him plenty of time to practise his throwing.

    U16/U19 Competition 2023

The level of talent Melbourne is producing is really making me question whether we'd be better off with the old 3 team model being ACT, NSW and QLD

Number 13 is an average player. Certainly not the best on the team. Jack Barrett and Finau are quality players despite their flaws. And the number 14 seems to be a bloody good player too. Saunders is showing flashes as well. Everyone else was average at best.

    U16/U19 Competition 2023

Can’t believe the selectors genuinely believed this backline was the best NSW could produce. Apart from 10, 11 and 14… this backline is just incredibly subpar.

    U16/U19 Competition 2023

Yeah it’s sloppy. NSW was poorly selected to say the least, and Rebels are always going to struggle so not a great watch. However, there’s flashes. Especially just then, that try was phenomenal.

Finau, Barrett and Batidravu are phenomenal.

    ISA 2023

@Hankspank please see above. "Tahs u15 squad released. Oakhill was the largest contributor to the squad with 6/26 being from Oakhill, with the next biggest contributor being Kings with 4/26 and Newington with 3/26. So effectively a quarter of the squad... must be a special age group coming out...

    CAS Rugby 2024

Hankspank. Please see ISA thread before you blow up and look silly for literally no reason. The fact that one school was able to create double the Waratahs that the entirety of the CAS is something I find problematic for the CAS... Nothing to have a dummy spit about.
