RWC QF 2 NZ v FRA (Millenium Stadium) 18th Oct 0600 AEDT

Not sure what that has to do with what i said. I'm not doubting that NZ have been the much better team tonight. That turnover by NZ at 43mins is exactly what I was talking about. NZ pilfered while France never had a chance to contest the ruck due to the position of the NZ tackler.

RWC QF 2 NZ v FRA (Millenium Stadium) 18th Oct 0600 AEDT

This is how most of the French attacking rucks look to me: - French player is tackled and goes to ground - NZ tackler goes to ground between the French attacker and his support - French support has to struggle to get past NZ tackler - NZ support have longer to pilfer as the French support have...

RWC: Tonga v Georgia (Kingsholm) Pool C

Every time I watch him referee I cant get past the way Owens says use.

RWC: Tonga v Georgia (Kingsholm) Pool C

I thought the odds were a bit skewed when I saw that. I can see Tonga being favourite but not by quite that much.

    Stormers v Brumbies Qualifier

Great result for the Brumbies but I still cant get past the South African commentators. Absolutely disgusting display of bias throughout the whole match. Even the Waratah brigade has got nothing on tonights broadcast. When they rarely complimented the Brumbies it was said with chagrin and...

    Stormers v Brumbies Qualifier

Hmmm, I still cant believe the language that these South African commentators use. Speight definitely in the wrong there but the commentators have absolute vindication/satisfaction in their voices when they talk about his punishment. Stormers player milked it hard as well.

    Stormers v Brumbies Qualifier

I cant believe how biased the South African commentators are. They even say we when referring to the Stormers.

NZ vs England Test 2 2014

Looked like a maul to me. Even if it wasn't I don't see how that's a yellow card. Was hardly professional.

    For Sale: One Test 10

Fair point, and I'm sure they've all worked on their games since leaving high school (I remember KB (Kurtley Beale)'s debut where he thought that he could just chip-kick his way to success and nothing else), but I mean really worked. The kind of work that players like Pat McCabe and many others have put in...

    For Sale: One Test 10

I think this could really be a good thing for JOC (James O'Connor)'s development. QC (Quade Cooper)/JOC (James O'Connor)/KB (Kurtley Beale) all have one thing in common: they've never had to work for it. They've all got more raw talent in their little finger than most people ever will. This has been their greatest asset and their worst enemy. They've all...

Competition - Link's top priority with the Wallabies

His top priority should be discipline. For better or worse, public perception is a huge part of rugby being successful in Australia. At the moment the public sees the Wallabies as unappreciative of how amazingly fortunate they are to be able to represent their country. Link needs to outline...

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

Correct me if I'm wrong but these are called Discussion Boards are they not? As soon as Link gets the job (I'd have preferred JW) we just shut the rugby boards down? Of course there are going to be merits to each various situation. Most of what has gone on in this thread has been discussion over...

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

Right, so it's your opinion, ie: baseless. I much prefer watching rugby now then I did 10 years ago. Is that because rugby is a better standard now? Have law changes impacted the style? Have my personal preferences changed? Is it the medium that rugby is delivered through now? 'Quality' is too...

    Ewen McKenzie: Wallaby Coach

So on the whole world rugby is worse than it was ten years ago? I don't know what stat(s) you look at to come to this conclusion. Are there more draws now, so there are fewer wins? Or is it just a feeling you get?
