Robertson has a better shape for LHP anyway. He's young, plenty of time to figure that out

My mail is that Moore's 3 year contract is in fact a staged retirement plan, and has within it plans to transition into coaching over 2018-19 and in retirement. I have also heard that the plan is that Moore won't be travelling further than Auckland or Melbourne to play for the Reds in 2017 so...

Koroibete shouldn't go, take Morahan, Naivalu, Kellaway or Nabuli

Higgers had and has more natural ability in more areas than Leroy, which when harnessed properly made him a bit better player on average. But the mental stuff, attitude and what they value, how they perceive themselves as players and stage of their careers all play into what they could offer...

The Rebs back five has sweet depth next year. The question will be what to do with Mafi and Timani. Mafi is a wide running athlete, where Timani is more a tight-loose bruiser who is more than handy pushing a prop. It'll be interesting to see how they manage it

Poey isn't coming on the Spring Tour. Leroy is already in England. Let him meet the team and train before the Argie game at twickers, then hang out over there before joining the squad in November

Yeah like Reg said there is a few they that are EPS or in some kind of u20's development retainer. Moses Sorovi is the 3rd scrum half, Mack Mason is another 10. Korzcyk plays 4,5,6,8 and remember they signed Angus Scott-Young from the 20's who is another 6/8 and part time lock.

    Wallabies v Springboks - Suncorp, Brisbane, 10th September 2016

Scott is looking down on impact isn't he...I also would wager he's got some kind of niggle. Same thing when he usurped slipper originally. Slips has dodgy shoulders and was struggling along so Sio grabbed the spot.

The OTHER great one Scrub. Felsman scored a great try but needs more time to show what he can do and hopefully he'll get it. Isa Naisarani is playing 6/8 at the moment and played a bit of second row for Sunnybank I think.

There is 4 Lucas boys. Ben played for Reds, Matt the Tahs, Tom for 7's and the youngest (and most talented of the lot) is about to finish school

P.S Banks has been quite impressive in the NRC. He's a solid lad but very athletic and fast, aggressive and has a big boot. I think he (and Perese) have been the big mover for me in terms of looking to compete for that 14/15 role.

The Chiefs released Horrell?!! Any Aus Super Rugby would do well to pick that lad up. Can play anywhere but 12 and 15 mostly and is a skillful and calm player.

He certainly seems to have attracted a level of vitriol in league that is surprising. He was Broncs top try scorer last year and is supposedly very good under the high ball. I still think it's a rushed, poorly thought through signing but am happy to wait and watch for half of 2017 before...

NRC Rnd 1: NSW Country v Brisbane City

Hanigan looks very very good. Lyman Tui covering lots of ground and leading the aggression. Just got caught twice over stepping the mark and sat down for 10

There is a theme for this recruitments. Local boys who have a rugby background. If Union is talking to league players then this is exactly how it should be approached.

    Reds 2017

If he had secured a release like Timu did and was coming across immediately to play NRC then I'd maybe understand

Money wise? no there is little risk. But squad spots are finite and the risk is that he may be less likely to add something positive than a winger plucked from the NRC or elsewhere. It's not like he was even a particularly dominant schoolboy player. It's a stupid, premature signing that makes...
