Wallabies vs England, Sydney, 3rd Test, 25 June @ 8:00pm

    1. Slipper 2. TPN 3. Kepu 4. Carter 5. Horwill 6. Fardy 7. Hooper 8. McCalman 9. Phipps (hopefully still with the boot mark on the arse he deserved this week) 10. Foley 11. Horne 12. To'omua (he's been back training for 3 weeks now) 13. TK 14. DHP 15. Folau 16. Moore 17. Sio 18. Holmes 19...

    Reds 2017

They're supposed to be 2 years allowed. The Reds had Tui on contract in 2015 but he played one game due to injury. I think they applied successfully to the ARU to play on in 2017

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

    Surely it has to be 1. Sio 2. Moore 3. Kepu 4. Horwill or Carter 5. Arnold 6. Fardy 7. Hooper 8. McCalman 9. Phipps 10. Foley 11. Horne 12. Lilo 13. TK 14. DHP 15. Folau 16. TPN 17. Slipper 18. Holmes 19. Skelton 20. Gill 21. Frisby 22. To'omua 23. Kerevi The only contentious decision is...

What if the Refs could carry an iPhone thing that could give them the live Spider Cam view at the same time as looking from where they stand as the scrum engaged?

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

Yeah but the reasons you can "fail" a concussion test are broad and non-specific now I.e you could answer all the questions perfectly and have no symptoms but if the medic thinks he saw you look stunned or dazed they can (and arguably should) "fail" you on suspicion. Great for player safety...

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

At the start of the year I was looking forward to To'omua cementing a role at 12 for the Brums and Wobs for a while. Then he signed overseas and picked up the knee niggle which caused him to have a few shit games in a row. And now he's fresh from an operation... I don't know, I think he'd be best...

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

He was playing 8 but he's not who I'd replace Poey with. Sio stays because he might turn it around, Kepu in at 3, Horwill in for injured Simmo (Carter on bench), big dog to 8 (Gill on bench), lilo and Kerevi to swap. 1. Sio 2. Moore 3. Kepu 4. Arnold 5. Horwill 6. Fardy 7. Hooper 8...

Yeah Cheik "cutting" players from the squad all a bit of bullshit isn't it.

    Reds 2017

Scrub I heard the same thing that Holmes was willing to stay at the Reds on the same coin until retirement... But for some unknown reason got tapped. Makes my blood boil. So Reds are losing a THP prop and they will need to pick one up. The decision is whether they back Talakai to regularly...

    Reds 2017

I still think Hunt would be a better 12 than he is a 15 given the chance to play there. My preference would be to move Magnay to the wing initially, Hunt and Kerevi at 12/13 and find another fullback (?Mogg).

    Reds 2016

I see Houston and Tui performing similar roles, Schatz something a bit different and Browning something a bit different again. The unknown is Timu and what he will bring. The Reds are sorted regardless at 6/8 (even in the likely event that CB or Schatz leave). We need 7's though, at least one...

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

For me the forwards pick themselves (either Horwill starts with Simmons or Arnold does the. It's either then Skelton + McCalman or Horwill/Arnold and McMahon on the bench.) In the backs I have previously advocated 9. Phipps 10. Foley 11. Horne 12. Lilo 13. Kuridrani 14. DHP 15. Folau 21...

2016 Under-20 Rugby World Championships - Manchester UK

I thought both cards were soft (especially the first one) but just on the side of correct sanction. Very unfortunate. Our chances of a victory are cooked but I hope Magnay doesn't get too down or retreat into his shell. We need him angry and running hard to progress further in the tournament...

Is anyone able to put together a list of the squad we know are on contract by position?
  17. hammertimethere

    Reds 2017

Schatz has been a good servant for the Reds but I can't see the Reds needing all of Timu, Houston, Tui, Browning and Schatz to cover 6 & 8 (though Curtis can play 7 passably). One has to go and if it is a choice between Jake and Curtis I'll take the latter.

I went back and watched Horwills game for Quins vs Montpellier in the champions cup final. He was excellent, probably best forward on the field against a team containing Jannie and Bismarck du Plessis, akapusi Qera, fulgence oedrago, JL du Plessis and Paul Willemse (of the blue bulls last year)...

Wallabies v England, Sat 11th June, 8.00pm, Suncorp Brisbane

Just because Lilo has to be the back up 10 doesn't preclude him from starting at 12 (see the way the Tahs used Foley and Beale for the last 3-4 years). I have also previously stated that I think the Tahs not having a primary ball carrying threat in the centers or on the wing is what was making...

Isn't it customary to have local boys come in to butt heads and hold hit shields whenever the Wobs are in town (the AB's do this too)? Though I suppose that doesn't explain Godwin's presence
