    Reds 2017

My thoughts are that the presence of our extremely mobile and athletic front rowers on the park would actually put somewhere among the 3 or so favourites to win the thing. Frisby, DP and Quade sending balls to Tupou, Neville, Fa'Agase, Paraka will be something to watch as they are all very...

    Western Force 2017

Dave McDuling and Pete Samu were both very useful in the ITM final on the weekend. Force should grab both if possible

That would also be a Loss for the Reds

EOYT 2016 - Possibles, probables and general banter

Leaving Morahan at home and taking Koroibete amongst the official squad is a terrible look for Australian rugby. I get that the ARU would want to fast track his development and there is nothing wrong with that. Doesn't change the fact that Morahan played well for the Force in a struggling team...

EOYT 2016 - Possibles, probables and general banter

I'm not a fan of taking Koroibete for Wallabies involvement. While it is technically within our rules and I know the Kiwis did it with SBW I'd rather see the guy play rugby first and help the Rebels win a few games. Guys that have put in the time in our game this year are more deserving...

ASY (Angus Scott-Young) is a solid player, needs significant development though. At least 1-2 more years of playing 2nd row in Prems and 6/8 in NRC

Just quietly...what if assistant(s) are coming from NRC but are coaching finals and the Reds are waiting till that's done. ...Simon Cron or Coleman for attack?

Gordon has gas.. We need all those boys at different franchises and starting

Yo Reg, Any word on why Nabuli hasn't played any NRC?

    Rebels 2017

It's a tough one. The guy is obviously potentially a star but he's also come off a fucking marathon of an NRL season. How much does he need rest vs Rugby game time in order to be at his peak for the Rebels and potentially Wallabies in 2017?

Pumas vs Wallabies - Sunday 9th October @ Twickenham

Based on what is available for this weekend (and the wallabies post game chat about "we were better than we were in Brisbane but didn't win" my bet is we'll see 1 - Sio (?injured, Slipper didn't cover himself in glory vs Boks) 2 - Moore 3 - Kepu 4 - Coleman 5 - Simmons 6 - Mumm 7 - Hooper 8 -...

    Reds 2017

I struggle with with this. At the moment I probably have such an negative emotional response to the memories of the 2016 season that it makes it impossible for me to judge Jake's contribution and value with any objectivity. Right now I keep going around in my head wanting Quade to play 10...

    Reds 2017

Have we totally discarded the idea of Hunt at 12? When I think about it the Reds best playmakers are probably 1 - Cooper 2 - DP 3/4 - Hunt and Mcintyre (can't split) The Reds best backline ball carriers are obviously Kerevi...daylight then everyone else. A halfway option between DP (the...

    Springboks v Wallabies - Sunday 2 October 1am AEST - Loftus Versfeld

I like Timani but I don't see him as a long term starting 8 for the wallabies. Holloway, Houston etc. all have more natural skills for the running, linking and lineout roles. Where I do think Timani has potential (if he can work on his lineout skills) is as a finisher forward because he...

His defense has been solid over the course of the NRC. Not Ant Fainga'a esque but not poor

Also how good has Duncan P been for QLD country! Played very strongly on the weekend. He'll be a strong option for the Reds in 2017/18

Part of every contract you would think that if you get injured playing or training for someone then they pay for the surgery and rehab. I know a couple of Aus players in Japan have flown back for surgery here.
