What every non-rebel supporter doesn't seem to understand is: No matter what theoretical best postion there is for KB (Kurtley Beale), the Rebels play better when he is at 10. So unsurprisingly, many Rebels fans have him as the starting 10.

The problem with the hooped design is it directly conflicts with the Stormers home strip. The only way you could potentially go with the hoops would be to make it the Rebels home strip also, which is unlikely at this point.

Its topics like this which do tend to bring out the Hyperbole. If Phipps is really as shit as everyone believes he is, he is doing a very good job of fooling a number of coaches.

When it comes down to it, the coaches get to see all of them at training and pick the one who is performing the best. At the moment that appears to be Phipps, no matter what people more removed from the selection process may or may not think.
