I think Colts is the tip of the iceberg for Epping and there are bigger issues to come. Opposition clubs are frustrated and it will only grow the longer these questions remain unanswered. Clubs and players want certainty.

Are you able to shed any light on the situation? Will Epping have 3-4 grades and colts?

Agreed and it's a fair point although the other side to it is there will be Subbies clubs that can't get a game for their players each week. You can't win.

What concerns me is that if clubs are struggling 10 days out from Round 1, how will they be faring in Round 7? Once injuries, holidays, disinterest, backing up and potentially big score lines set in seems like a recipe for forfeits.

I look forward to seeing whether Epping, Beecroft, Newport, Briars and Hills will be able to field the teams in the "published" Richardson Cup draw in less than 2 weeks.

With clubs announcing preseason trials I see there is some inter-division fixtures. Georges River seem to have fixtures against Hornsby & UNSW. St Pat's hosting Kings, Georges River and Alexandria one weekend as well.

I'm told that the Division 2 clubs that voted for their delegate were St Pat's, Petersham, UNSW, Newport, Hills, Epping, Briars and Hawkesbury Valley. Would appear Valley got the nod over Beecroft for the last spot.

Forgive my ignorance but was Mosman the only club in Subbies affected by a European exodus? Are passports not issued anywhere else? Part of being a successful club is being able to deal with these inevitable challenges.
