For your viewing pleasure, go to about 21:30. The ref probably should have stopped the play when Holmes didn't move.

Have to say, I really enjoyed going to a game on a Sunday arvo. It looked like quite a few people took advantage of being able to bring their kids along free... good stuff!

Rebels Radio will be streaming audio of tomorrow's Rising game... http://melbournerebels.com.au/club/fan-zone/reb-radio-live Even better than TV 'cause you can use your imagination!

English was called up to the Wob Squad a few days ago, might have to find another 13. http://www.melbournerebels.com.au/news/article/wallabies-lose-weeks-as-english-gets-the-call-up

Fainga'a, Fuglistaller, Hegarty, Kingston and Reid all out of the NRC due to various surgeries :( Shame, especially for Hegarty and Reid, they could have really benefited from playing.

Isn't wanton speculation the primary purpose of internet forums? ;)

I'd like to think that this might be the case. After all, if he really wants to go then why would you want to keep him?

This whole situation with Foketi is a bit odd. It seemed like a curious decision to take him on the tour to Safferland and leave Sau in Melbourne. As far as I know, the Rebels have not announced that he's leaving, or that his contract has been renewed. The only mention of him going to France has...

Well, if TT does have some special sauce to add next year that would be awesome. I would be rapt with eight wins in 2015.

I think your "delusions of grandeur" comment is a bit strong but, certainly a lot of us had expectations that 2014 was going to be a better year. The second half of last season was pretty good. From the last eight games we had three wins and five bonus points with the worst loss being against...

Yep, I think Inman has been improving a bit every year and this has probably been his best season to date.

So may I ask what your plan would be? Which six players would you shoot? Who would you replace them with? Another group of 19-21 years olds with potential on short contracts or, are there six ready to go, quality Super Rugby players available to be signed? As others have mentioned...

Lions V Rebels, 5 July @ Ellis Park

IMHO, this is one of the strangest (of a long line of strange) decisions this year. Pyle was benched the minute he announced he was leaving so, unless Neville has an injury, why start him now?

Interesting that Foketi has a seat on the plane, considering he's reported to be leaving. Male Sau seems to have been dropped, he isn't on the injured list.

Probably not this year but it wouldn't be a surprise if he was taken on the EOYT as a Wallaby tourist.

Very little info at this stage. Basically, they're just asking people to register their interest to participate in a forum on two dates (TBA) between now and the end of the year.
